Or buy another product that, be it SteamBox, Wii U or Xbox One.

Xbox One is still expensive, but cost $800 less. It will sell more here.

It's not only tax. Some companies inflate their prices and some consummers just buy anyway. Xbox One will cost almost half.

Best graphics on PS3 to me, until now.

The point of this article is...

Xbox One is 0.5 less points in his analysis. He gave Ryse a 3.5 only based on QTE that is not showed on the last video. Crytek have fixed that.

Good news. Hope that do not change in 2012.

Gamers do care.

Think about graphics too, but not only it, and you will sell even more.

They have limited the attempts requiring more time and using captcha.

There's a compromise you could treat to your users. If they do more, legitimate users will have a non desirable expericence.

It's impossible to fix to any company is more correct.

Only thing will work is change the amount of time neccessary to brute force a password and use other methods to increase security. MS did that.

I have read it before anti-SOPA blackout. He used a Visual Basic Script to automatize brute force login attempts.

After MS changes to the login process, he have changed the delay to more seconds.

This brute force method, after the MS changes, will only get very poor created passwords and only will work if people know a possible username (e-mail) used for Xbox Live.

Agreed. It's only a stupid way and ubiquituous to get account credentials.

You could use brute force to break CAPTCHA. Let alone a simple user and password security schem. If someone use this script on other sites like Google or PSN, they will get access eventually.

That's the motivation for Google 2-step verification:

Do not call BS so soon. But you could call later...

Before anything, I do not so sure if procedural synthesis was used or it's avaiable in the present by a API call or something.

Coders do not have to access SRAM directly if they could only produce geometry from RAM data and use API calls to store them for the GPU to consume.

Geometry could be a monstruous RAM user, but if used properly, procedural synthesis co...

Read the article on my second post. It's very useful to understand that Xenon CPU is a beautiful thing for the gaming needs of a console.

You should read:
Inside the Xbox 360, part I: procedural synthesis and dynamic worlds

In other words: the Xbox 360 CPU could create all vertex of a geometry composition on the fly and pump that to the GPU using a ultraspeed channel.

Better?

5202d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

I would like to know if any exclusive game used procedural synthesis of geometry.

The Xbox 360 CPU could create or modify geometry on-the-fly using the L2 cache as a buffer to the GPU. A percentage of the L2 cache could be blocked for that function, not interfering in that way with the rest of CPU functions.

I think this is a way to use more one of the powerful aspects of the Xenon GPU, your triangle texturization ability and shading, increasing the fidelity ...
