Don't forget all the secret sauce, hold the fries.
Those I fear have been needed in all entertainment firms for the last few decades. I'm not sure we will be seeing much headway there.
But do you think the series can make a decent comeback?
I haven't finished DA:Origins either. But my biggest shame so far is Ocarina of Time, need to get that done some time.
I love co-op and this is indeed a fresh take on it. I will certainly give it a go but i'm worried about some of the muppets out there in gaming land that you will end up being partnered with. I hope i'm the monster most of the time.
Strange how some say this is a CoD killer. It might end up being a better game but then many are, in sales figures they are dreaming. Just take a look at pre-order numbers and it's not going to sell half of what CoD does on the 360 alone.
And yet the supply constrained PS4 beats the XB1 in every one of those territories. And don't forget they are MASSIVE markets like South Africa, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo etc. They won't even bump the sales. Meanwhile the PS4 has Japan to come, one of it's biggest markets.
MS had a great start with the XB1, but every console with a large brand fan base will have a good start. Now sales are poor and MS must react, the sooner they do the easier it will be t...
I agree but "on the horizon" means that between now and then the gap could become alarmingly large. And big gaps in sales could affect 3rd party offerings and hamper MS ability to create deals like they have in the past with early DLC etc. At the very least they would have to pay more for such deals and that's not what the division needs at all.
There is nothing cheap about Resogun and there's nothing arcadey about Outlast. But there's no doubt that in time you will also see the titles you are asking for.
@cchum insanity is interesting.
Do you think it would be plausible to become a developer solely for PS+.
Meaning Sony would pay developers a set fee for a game to be release day 1 for free on PS+. This is basically what happened with Resogun.
I think they have started off pretty well for the PS4. Resogun is high quality and most people seem to be enjoying Outlast quite a bit. We also know that at some point we will get a truncated version of Driveclub on launch.
Well I'll just have to admin I have extreme OCD then. I finished HAZE, Lair, Terminator Salvation and others. I am ashamed.
Maybe it's a maturity thing but I prefer to take my time and finish a game (unless I'm not enjoying it). Missing out on release dates means I get to play the same game a bit later at a much cheaper price. It's win-win as far as I'm concerned.
PC? Most people would say it's the mobile market.
13Gb seems less like a patch and more like a full download. Many full games i've downloaded have been smaller. How broken does something have to be that it requires 13Gbs worth of fixing? Seems fishy to me. Maybe they snuck some future purchasable DLC in there, nothing would surprise me these days.
With Monster Hunter looking unlikely it's really just down to GT now. However i don't believe that one game alone can push that many sales on it's own. They need a compelling library.
Personally i think Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice and Killzone are all exceptional games. The Vita does have some really strong titles in it's library but it still needs more.
Can anyone report back on stability improvements since the new patch?
They made a popular game that lots of people enjoy with some awesome features like the battlelog app. But so much of it is broken that it's really frustrating. Why can't I change my load out in the game but when I'm out of multiplayer? Sometimes I'm playing in a match with a friend and the app has him as offline or online but not in a game. I've had crashes, falling through the maps and the game forgetting I had unlocked ant weapons. Come on DICE sort it out!
This game is going to eat my life. The atmosphere is the thing that truly amazes me about the Souls games. These guys are masters of the craft.
