For some reason (this generation) anything under a 9 means it's unplayable garbage.....

I didn't play DarkSouls. I played DemonSouls. I didn't buy DarkSouls when I found out it aswell had no pause button. Bonfires won't cut it, I need an insta-pause. Kids get it to things quickly....
It's the one reason I can't play Demon/Dark souls, even though I love playing them. I have children and I need a pause button!!!!
Console gaming is dead.
