@Death you are truly ignoring what I have said.
This is what you say: "They are most likely to buy used/budget games and not new releases. If these buyers opt for the streaming service, what will happen to the user base as the console lifecycle goes on? How will devs react to a smaller userbase or split userbase? These are serious questions to ask if you are an early adopter or "hardcore" gamer. If streaming is successful, why release disc based content?"

Are you serious???
Mom and Dad will buy litle Timmy a PS4 because the service won't play new PS4 games. It won't play infamous Second Son or the Order 1886 when it comes out.
We don't even know the price of the services yet.
And you are ignoring the most important thing about the service. It is to play PS1 PS2 PS3 games. It will not affect PS4 in any way.
PS+ is not hurting Sony in any way. The games that most people get for free on PS+ for PS3 and...
Ok let's admit that those rumors are true. As soon as the developer came out to deny it, they will sure add something to make it looks better than the alpha. They will definitely had something more so that it doesn't look like the alpha.
So even if those rumors are true as of today. They will surely be wrong by the time the game release cause MS can't afford that rumor to be true at all. And again because a developer came out to deny it that only confirms that they will ad...
I actually bought them all and at release date because my friends would buy it and we could play together (Friday Night, Saturday morning). But I haven't spend time at all on Modern Warefare 3 and Black Ops 2.
@JokesOnYou
The report is for their second quarter (Q2) which starts in October and ends in December 31st. There is no January data in there.
You really think they would presents such a long report with all the data for the whole Microsoft (phones, tablets, Xbox Division, Software, Windows) for the past 3 months and add the 21 days of January??
Again the 3.9 Million shipped is for their second Quarter. January data is not included at all.
Now to agree with yo...
So I can camp. Get a Titan, then camp again get another Titan then camp again and get another Titan???
So how does this game stop campers???
@ StaticDahs22, where can I find that scene. I would like to see it
I just opened the link to see the PS3 commercial and they played an ad first. Guess what the ad was: a Xbox One commercial. Lol
The first FF XIII was ok. It was a nice first run but I have always done 2 full run minimum on all FF games I have played. And for this one I didn't really feel like doing another run.
FF XIII-2 was the worst. Only finished it because I am a big fan of FF. I think this next FF XIII-3 is going to be the first one I am not going to buy.
Very sad indeed. I was a fan since the first one on the NES...
"If MS launched in another 35 countries today they wouldn't be able to keep up with demand and made a conscious decision to launch in 13 countries and keep supply strong."
And that is where you are so wrong.(Numbers were taken from VGC and their old numbers are accurate since they always fix them after getting official numbers)
1)PS4 is ahead of the Xbox One in countries that were Xbox 360 land: UK and US.
2) North America (US+Canada+Mexico) represents 57...
@ KingDadXVI
I have to give it to you. You are really good at spinning. I am gonna try using some spinning myself. By the way numbers were taken from VGC and you know that their old numbers are accurate since they fixed them after official numbers.
1)PS4 is ahead of the Xbox one in countries that were Xbox 360 land: UK and US.
2) North America (US+Canada+Mexico) represents 57% of Xbox 360 sold
3) UK represents 11% of Xbox 360 sold
4) If you add UK and N...
Yeah they also got free publicity from Microsoft with that all DRM and always online talk.
It might actually be more than 1.2 million leads. The title says "to date" but if you read the article Sony number's are : "Sony’s new console sold through (meaning to customers) 4.2 million units since its North American launch on November 15th until December the 28th."
But it's not your fault. They should fix the title.
@ Mhunterjr, since I only have on comment left I will try to teach you something. (Numbers were taken from VGC and you know their old numbers are accurate since they always fix them after getting official numbers)
1)PS4 is ahead of the Xbox 360 in countries that were Xbox 360 land: UK and US.
2) North America (US+Canada+Mexico) represents 57% of Xbox 360 sold
3) UK represents 11% of Xbox 360 sold

You do realise PS4 hasn't launch in Japan yet right and that the 4:3 is while people can't find PS4 and Xbox One are easily available right??? lol
@Lastofgen please VGC had the 2.5 Millions Xbox One to December 21st and then 2.9 Millions to december 28th. So yeah VGC has been pretty accurate with the Xbox One so far. And they had the 2.9 Millions to December 28th before MS released their 3 Millions Xbox One units sold statement.
They do make adjustment from time to time but this time they didn't. No need to make up lie.
@ Septic, I believe the Xbox One has potentiel.
If they release a full voice control game, example a kind of Yu-Gi-Oh battle games
"I call Dark Magician"
"I activate Trap card"
"Blue Eye Dragon attack Life force"
"I fuse Dark Magician with White Magician"
....
A Strategic RPG with voice command:
"Attack Soldier1"
"Use Magic Firega on All"
"Use Curaga...
If it's 0.04% more then no one should care. But a 100% more gives developer a new strategy. The console that sells a lot less will have less support. In the beginning of last gen MS secured most JRPG. FF XIII was announced as a PS3 exclusives but because Xbox360 had more units worldwide, FF XIII became multiplat. $300 PS3 slim was a result of Xbox360 price.
When PS3 started catching up a lot of games from the xbox360 got release
So yes sales matters and they do affect wh...
If you take US sales out for both, then yes PS4 is outselling the xbox one 2 to 1, outside of the US.
Nearly 60% of Xbox One Sales are from the US.
Believe me in the US advertisement works bigtime.
If you listen to US advertisement they will make you believe you can afford and $2000 monthly mortgage with a $1600 monthly payment.
MS is investing a lot in the US to commercialize the Xbox One, I see Xbox commercials more than PS.
