Although the Titanfall bundle is "better" value, The reason they're not selling well is mainly because Kinect is unwanted. Kinect has been declined by the market gamers both hardcore and casual don't want to be forced with kinect. Assuming this i think the Kinect-less SKU may boost the XB1 sales that and gamers need to be assured of the exclusives by MS. They have to compensate on the slightly weaker console.
Agreed, Playstation brand is more reliable in most terms against Xbox especially with constant flow of the exclusives. Although i think Xbox will give Playstation a battle in that department, assuming the hype for E3 is real. Hopefully things turn around for Xb1, I'm having loads of fun with both consoles.
Not Overtake but, it will certainly sell well once the Kinect-less SKU is released, and a steady flow of great exclusives appear for the consoles, and not just rehashes of existing IP's. They pretty much have to follow the Sony's formula for the PS3.
Really? I actually think the kinectless sku could help a lot, most do not wish to be forced to buy kinect, if MS go the right way and provide exclusives which they missed to do during the 360 era they could catch up with the ps4. They pretty much just have to be more committed. Hopefully they could get there act together.
Considering that, I'm assuming as both consoles performance increases the gap will increase slightly but nothing major which will show a huge difference. Time will tell, although MS now has to bring out great exclusives to counter the performance gap.
Doubt that would happen, I'm aassuming when this gpu increase is implemented MS will find a work around on that basis.
Wouldn't it make sense, the gap between the two stay the same throughout this generation as both consoles would be improving with support.

I think these numbers are accurate, but this gets me thinking why have not Sony released their numbers, did they also have a bad month?

I don't think so, i read the npd analyst started both consoles sold twice as much as the last gen in the same month/time period. Not sure if true but that was the stated by ign.

Seriously? Spineless? They did what they needed to do to adapt to the market. Kinect was unwanted in the market despite the Xb1 selling well but not as well as the PS4. Giving an option of having a kinect less SKU to purchase, just shows how they finally know that Kinect should of been sold separately from the start. Consumers voted with their wallet and MS sure know who won that battle, now they had adapted to the situation by creating the Kinect-less SKU, which is a smart decision. I don...

They're only chance of getting those gamers lost is by providing great exclusives and experience similar to what Sony did during last gen. So far as, Phil has taken over, thing's seem bright up the road.
It's really an opinion, in my opinion Xbox so far have released slightly better titles, but the upcoming lineup could go to either side as Sony have excellent record for exclusives and MS seem to be stepping up their game. As for an indies standpoint PS4 wins hands down.
