Would love it if i could run Last FM while playing a game.
I feel the same way about Kirby. He seems to have all the power of a big platformer franchise as Mario. Yet his games seem to release close to when the system is on its last leg.
Funny when you look at past articles for this game and see a lot of posters who couldn't wait to play this game.
people wanted it only for the reason of nostalgia.
this game has been on hold for close or more than a decade and since then the fps genre has improved and moved on. DNF suffered from very archaic play styles that are just not accepted anymore.
If anything this title should have been sold in stores for 15 bux. Charging 6...
Started a day ago. The game isn't very intuitive, but like i said i just started.
Question tho, can you only pick ice, fire, mental or elemental powers? I was hoping for a wider selection of powers. Or do i have to pay for those?
I would love to see a remake/re-imagining of Blood Omen. That game was damn awesome and deserves a revisit.
So when i go on xbox live and their Games on Demand section and see Enslaved, Crysis, Frontlines, crysis 2, Resident Evil 4 HD, Bulletstorm...you mean these games are half of what its suppose to be!?!
The point i was making was a full game can be download only. There's nothing stopping it.
And yes U2 would of had all the content if it was dl only. Why wouldn't it? Is there a sony restriction on how much a game content should have when its dl only...
uuuum, i did read the article.
I wasn't listing all the reasons why Sony lost money. Sorry if you read it that way.
I just listed the reasons (imo) on the gaming side since this is a gaming site. Hence why i also talked about MS and 1st party devs.
Thanks for the recap tho.
sony just isnt about the playstation? Holy crap, that's news to me!
*turns on bravia tv* *watches Spider-Man2*
What's the difference if it's full retail or not?
You can download full retail games on 360 already. Just because its dl only doesn't mean it will be anything less.
...hopefully.
Seems to be normal with big companies all around to experience loss.
Sony probably planned this from the very beginning of the ps3, the problem with their launch, the numerous iterations of the ps3 and the constant price cuts.
This loss is probably a drop in the bucket for them...maybe.
Also this is one of the reasons MS doesn't invest in a large amount of first party studios. It takes millions of dollars to keep those running.

@moeqawma
you know i read posts about CoD all the time and it amazes me that most posters throw this buzz word around "innovative".
What exactly can CoD "innovate"? Have they not changed the way FPS's are done already?
I have to ask the other posters above who use this word, how can CoD be innovative?
And moeqawma is right, better graphics is NOT innovation.
CoD didn't ruin anything. It's the imitators and carbon copies that saturate the genre that makes things feel ruined.
Remember when all (war)FPS's was stuck in the WW2 era? We had a million articles and angry posters wanting something different. Then MW comes around and nails it big time. Everyone else soon follows.
Remember when World at War dropped. People were like "WTF, WW2 again!?!"
The point is CoD didn't...
Strange, there are a lot more games on mobile and pc with this same exact game mechanic and yet this is the one that took off and became insanly popular.
Just goes to show what happens when devs add personality and fluff to a product.
What irony do you see exactly?
there was a boss fight in bayonetta where this huge angelic/god like boss was giving a speech about whatever and bayonetta punches him in the face mid sentence...i dont know if i can explain it any better if u havent played the game. The humor and action was way over the top and that's what i loved about it.
kratos can still mess with the norse, egyption, japanese, india, mayan, etc., etc., gods. there's plenty of go...
So this is available now on psn?!
Too right!
What IP's did sony sell to nintendo?
Spyro was published by Sony, the rights went to universal then to Activision.
Crash went to Universal Interactive also.
in fact what other sony ip's did sony sell to anyone?
Bayonetta was probably one of the best action game i played for this gen.
It easily overthrew GoW as hack and slash goodness. Any game where you play ping pong with a missile or punch a god boss in the face mid sentence is damn awesome.
would really like a part 2 to this game and Vanquish.
Wait! Wait! No! No!
According to some on n4g, MS doesn't allow free DLC!
cross game/party chat is very useful. there's been many times when i'm playing a different game then my friend(s) and we link up to discuss plans for friday/saturday night.
And there has been times especially for dark souls when i hit up my friends and asked how they got thru a problem.
X game chat is definitely a great feature.
I'm sure that all content could be put on a blu-ray.
It is a damn good game and has made me put off BF3, Gears3 and Batman:AC.
