Smart move, Sony should embrace and promote this.
They don't want to let the BetaMax fiasco happen all over again.
*yikes*
@white lightning
Left over content used as a template for the sequel?
Where did you here this nonsense? Seriously, where is this mentioned? And why is it the 360's fault?
I love how blame is placed on a game system because that game didn't live up to some people's expectations.
I would like to know your reasons for this tho.
I'm amazed that the Wii still gets numbers.
I don't know about that list besides Superman none of the other picks popped out at me.
I think a Blade game in the same style as Arkham City would be bad a#$. A Constantine game would be cool too.
But what everyone wants and been asking for years is a Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew game.
my most anticipated game so far.
Wasn't this article already on N4G?
What do users expect out of every Sony firmware update?
Who is getting upset?
Besides it seems Sony releases a patch/firmware update every other week that's a lot of anger for some users.
This may have something to do with the rumored next Xbox. It's looking very real now.
Can't wait until the next E3.
True, and there is more good in the Fallout games and Skyrim then bad.
White-Lightning, turn based battle system could also be button mashing, Matrix is right.
even in Lost Odyssey I could mash the attack button for each of my characters.
If you think FFxiii was all button mashing then you either you never played it or you didn't give it time enough. Because if you button mash through most of the battles you would end up dead, quick.
And there was more strategy involved in ff13 then any turned based ga...
Its the same as the Fallout games.
But people seem to be more tolerate and understanding for these types of games.
If true, it's probably due to either wanting to head his own studio or something internal between him and Sony.
We just have to wait and see.
They need to focus on that damn D-pad! How many times have I thrown my controller across the room while playing umvc3, sf4 or any other fighting game due to that garbage d-pad.
And I tried the "swivel" d-pad but that's crap too. Cause the damn thing pops off if you use too much. Absolute crap from MS.
Here's hoping for a real d-pad on the next controller.
edit: is it true the big N holds the patent on cross shaped d-pa...
Jennifer Aniston was born to play that role. She was smoking hot in that movie.
The movie was also hilarious.
Looking forward to this game.
I love the Indie game section on 360. Such talent should be advertised more.
Unbelievable!
There have been many many articles that proved 360 had NOTHING to do with any design or gameplay choices the team went with FF.
Go look up some articles where the producer even said the design of the game was final.
I can't believe some people still think this way.
That is the number one reason I didn't like that game. I never understood why that was put in. And I never understood why everyone excepted it and loved that game.
If I remember I think Darkstalkers 3 did the same thing.
Awful.
BULLS*@T!!! AAARRGGHH!!!
*hits wall*
*slams gated fence*
A reason for yearly releases is because most sequels are proven IP's and most likly will make a profit for the developer.
Everytime a dev creates a new IP it's a gamble. Sink millions of dollars into an unkown IP and risk little to no return will kill smaller devs. They also hurt bigger devs but since they have their annual income they can afford to take more risks and release new IP's.
That is one of the reasons why we see the same game comin...
@Maria,
I would really like to know how XBL started it, please explain.
As far as I know XBL is the dashboard with (apps) that allow you to purchase content for games, games, and other services.
How is xbl similar to on disc dlc?
