Wait a minute did I read that right. GT5 is only 90% done? Last year PD said that the game was done and can be shipped at any time. Now, almost a year later it's only 90% done.

I just don`t get it. Sony sold 2 million consoles in December. 1.4 million sold in the states, yet games like KZ2, Infamous, Demon`s Souls and let`s not forget GOTY Uncharted 2 released last year. Some heavy hitters here that fail to show on any top 10 sales in the major regions. However Uncharted 2 is 12th place in the UK.

That's true, however if it doesn't sell well, you can kiss a sequel good-bye, or watch as the company closes it's doors due to not enough sales to recoup what was put into developing the game, or expect any kind of DLC to prolong the experience. Sales matter, and if not enough are sold then that would be quite a waste of talent and hard work for this niche title.
