Memories
It doesn't matter how good or bad the hardware nor software for Kinect will be, it will sell a a lot. The casual market doesn't care if the games are good or not, if they see something "cool" on TV they'll go out and buy it.
I'm going to hold off on getting one. I'll wait a few months and see if the software developed for it is great.
OK. So might as well ban all violent movies and music as well. It's not the games, it's the parents. Those kids that shot up Columbine HS had bombs and semi automatics in their closets, how in the world did their parents not know that. Then they try to blame it on games.
Yeah, that's definitely way too much for NBA Jam, I agree it should be about 20 bucks.
Yeah but those are only temporary fixes. I'm just going to go ahead and get a new one.
I have to keep a lookout on this. My original 60 gig PS3 just YLODed on me. So I might just wait for black friday to take advantage of a good deal. Any idea how long before the store opens I have to wait in order to get my hands on a PS3 at Gamestop that day?
This looks like a cool game. Old school style.
Who cares about the amount of pre orders a game has accumulated. What interests me is the quality of the game, and how it impacts me as a gamer. How many pre orders did Shadow of the Colossus have, how many did Demons Souls have? Who cares, those games are masterpieces.
Let's see if the end product reflects on that.
Why Sony hasn't announced a PS3 bundled with GT5 here in the states? Same thing with God of War 3 they didn't bundle it together, I think it would be a smart move.
You couldn't have said it any better.
Mine just got &%^$ed up a week ago, I sold it as is. Now I'm contemplating if I should get one soon or take a risk and get one on Black Friday because they include free games at times. I'm just wondering how early you have to arrive at a store in order to get your hands on one, any suggestions?
Are the levels shown made by the developers or players? That was pretty dam cool. The second level they showed with the green hamster tubes reminded me of a hamster I had growing up who fell out our apartment window and plunged to his death, true story.
That's a wicked list. They didn't even mention MLB The Show which is personally my favorite sports franchise.
What about this idea; why doesn't Sony release a PS3 bundled with GT5 the week of Black Friday? I know Japan is getting a GT5 bundle but I haven't heard anything about the states. Wouldn't this be a great idea if they want to boost sales for both the game and console?
With all due respect we haven't played the game yet so we can't come to that conclusion yet.
If I had a Wii I would definitely get this game. I dig the art style and gameplay.
I never knew that selling close to 40 million consoles total worldwide spells out the downfall of a console. You have to remember that sales of consoles fluctuate, and this percentage is being compared to the PS3 sales of last September, when there was a $100 dollar price drop and a new model out.
According to your logic this is the downfall of the Nintendo DS as well, even though they sold 100 plus million units worldwide.
That's an impressive list.
