Getting the PS4 version then. Thanks for the info.
I'm still undecided wether I should get it on PC or PS4. Any thoughts?
I'll probably pick this up. Looks great.
But that's the thing. If you want best quality you can't go with youtube. I agree with Majin-Vegeta gamersyde should be the standard for video reveals.
Well I have different calibration modes so I don't have to destroy anything. I just use one calibration for gaming, one for movies, one for sports and so on. Pretty much every HDTV has the option to set up multiple calibrations.
Well. I haven't had a console last gen so I really appriciate their effort to bring a critically acclaimed game to a partially new audience. I don't see why this wouldn't be a good thing.
The visuals are amazing. I was hoping for a little more gameplay though. But I guess we might see more at E3. I'm glad I got a PS4 for games like this.
The graphics are amazing. Can't wait for this. Sadly no release date yet.
I remember people saying the same thing about 20GB. In a couple of years 16TB won't be that much anymore. It'll probably still be more than enough for the lifespan of the X1 though.
"And the version with Black Crush has better contrast?!
Roger that."
It's the same phenomenon one can see when unknowledgeable people buy a TV in a shop. Most go for the one with the most oversaturated picture.
higher contrast doesn't nessessarily mean better contrast.
@George W. Noob: Dude stop being so defensive. Just because one game looks equal on X1 and PS4 doesn't mean that the dev team is more talented than others. If anything it's a sign that the dev didn't put much effort into making the strenghts of each console count (not surprising for a cross-gen title). Especially when the game looks average (graphically) at best.
lol. If anything he would do you. Link doesn't bow down to anyone.
ign did a video about this too. I think they said it were 7 editions. I don't really understand the appeal of those special editions personally. I get most games digitally anyway.
Don't get me wrong an artbook is cool and the OST may be nice to have in some cases but some content is just pointless imo. What would I do with a mask or an action figure?
I respect that people like to collect stuff but for me it's just dust collectors. I agree tho...
PC version for me as well. I have my PS4 mainly for exclusives and local multiplayer games.
If you can choose between X1 and PS4 version, PS4 is clearly the way to go. 792p is a joke in this day and age. I think both the X1 and PS4 versions could run at a higher resolution if it wasn't a cross gen game. I really hope that publishers stop holding back games because of last gen ports asap.
Best Fighter: Subjective. Injustice for me. Ultra Street Fighter IV, Yatagarasu, Guilty Gear, Super Smash Bros U are still coming.
Best Racer: Forza seems to be a letdown for most people as it features less content compared to its predecessors. Project Cars will wipe the floor with Forza when it comes out. Driveclub looks impressive as well. Also: Mario Kart 8 :D
Best open world: Subjective again. Infamous is my pick so far and Watchdogs is coming out in...
"Even the launch titles are some of the best games I've ever played and Microsoft admits those were even rushed products"
Not sure if serious.
PC's are great if you're willing to spend a good amount of money on them. I never understood why some people try to build "gaming PCs" for 400-500 bucks. I'd say you'd have to spend about double of that to really have the advantages of PC gaming for years to come. I for one won't buy multiplatform games on consoles cause I have a pretty strong PC. But I really am pleasently surprised at what the PS4 can pull off with it's $400 price tag.
I don't understand why Crytek gets criticised for that more than other devs. Crysis 1 was a great game. And Crysis 3 wasn't bad either. I've played Killzone: SF and even though I enjoyed the game it's guilty of the same things that the Crysis series gets criticised for.
Not every game needs to be a masterpiece in order to be enjoyable.
"If I like something I usually leave it."
But if you don't like something you keep coming back and nitpick about every single detail.
Most people do it the other way around.
Oh man. That's a tough one. It depends on your budget and what kind of games you prefer. The Order 1886 really convinced me to buy a PS4 but I already have a good gaming PC.
The only advise I can give you is to wait for E3 before deciding so you can see what's coming up for both systems.
