But then, as with Destiny, MGS has given us nothing new since E3.
All the games that actually bothered to show up with something interesting at gamescom got some attention. Hell, I'm even down with Zoo Tycoon after the event.
Of course what you say obviously has some truth to it... but it's not so black and white.
"With that said, I know many of my family & friends haven't pre ordered a single game because we plan on buying everything day one as a digital download. This way we can use the console as originally intended by Microsoft. "
Same here. I wouldn't even bother considering a bundle, preordered game, or otherwise. I'll be grabbing all my copies digital.
Of course, everyone in this thread will ignore you or vehemently deny that what your ...
4-1? lol. You keep saying that... and you're full of it. You KNOW you're full of it. Why bother?
"The report cites unnamed “market watchers” as saying camera module and optical disc drive yields aren’t hitting expectations. As a result, Microsoft’s Xbox One shipment forecasts for the remainder of 2013 have been slashed to 6.2 million, down from a predicted 7 million less than one month ago. Sony is currently predicted to ship 10 million PlayStation 4 consoles “at...
Both in place at the same time?
Sounds perfect. Give me the benefits of digital, and bring back the DRM. I didn't give a care to begin with.
Let dinosaurs keep there disks. It makes them feel "secure", and they "like collecting them".
I like playing videogames.
"You are right that those you mentioned are real exclusives but you didn't get what FlameHawk was using Forza and Halo as few examples. "
That sentence makes zero sense to me.
I would too if a bunch of pro Sony Xbox-detractors came flooding into every post I tried to create about my new product.
If they had given us some new gameplay, like Respawn did, there would be a lot more buzz.
What do they expect when they show the same thing over and over? People lose interest.
"Don't be mad there aren't any real "exclusives" except Halo and Forza. "
lol... what? DR3, KI, Ryse.... and those are just at launch, kiddo.
Why be mad? I'll be playing Titanfall on my Xbox One come march.
:p
80 bucks for a bunch of costumes and crap? That's just lame. 20 bucks, I'm in. Another 20 down the line... We'll see. 40? twice? HA!
The way that DoubleHelix explained it, the $40 "seasons pass" (or perhaps some other sort of seasons pass option) will include all of the future seasons. Sort of like Battlefield premium.
Full retail price for all future installments would be fair, I think. Paying anything more seems... excessive. Personally, I'll be grabbing the 20 dollar version and that's it. Too many good games coming to make long-term investments in a fighting launch-title.
Maybe this means that the next installment of Titanfall will come out on PS4? Seems logical to me...
@fox
A typical FPS in that you look down the barrel of a gun and shoot people from the first person perspective? In the sense that your character moves forward, throws grenades, uses weapons, and tries to kill players on the enemy team?
I guess that means that ALL FPS' are typical FPS'. Go figure...
"Some rumors surrounding TitanFall arose out of nowhere a couple of hours ago."
Great start, there. lol.
I have heard it stated directly by the developers on numerous occasions during dev interviews. Pretty sure MS has asked them to stress that fact.
I'd find one, but I'm working. Just look for a Gamescom titanfall interview, should do the trick.
@christian
Report me all you want chumbo, can't argue with the facts. Multiplayer is the way forward for Xbox.... GO PLAY NINTENDO!
"Good developers make games out of passion that stems from their personal life experiences"
puhhhhhh-LEEZE! Why don't you go write a heartfelt short story.
@hammed
ahahahaha. Alrighty then... I'll just drop this 4 month old article here and let you mull over...
Ever heard of Windows 8? The same OS that will be required to play Titanfall?
Exclusive to MS. Feel free to hate, you are still dead set on contributing to their bankroll.
disagrees: ahhhhh, validation.
60% of consoles are on Xbox Live... some odd 50 million people.
Those are the real gamers. Thats where the money is. Thats where the fun is. Nobody gives a crap about you single player junkies anymore.
Go play Nintendo.
The idea behind the lightbar was to allow the originally packed in PSeye to differentiate between first and second controller, as well as track their rotation/positions.
That's how it was advertised during the PS4 reveal, if memory serves...
Funny how some people have a tendency to conveniently forget that. The lightbar is direct evidence of a pullback from the camera after the mandatory Kinect rumor surfaced.
I didn't downvote him. He's just begging for it is all I'm saying. I approach the topic with cautious optimism
@flamehawk
Attempting to lure people who preordered ps4? that's ridiculous. If anything, they're trying to capture the droves of prospective Christmas & boxing week buyers.
Spin, spin, spin...
seriously. how do they expect me to stall my digital car with that hunk of plastic?
