Wow, blaze, settle down. What do you mean "no games". The whole commercial was based around games... sort of a live-action representation.
I thought the commercial was awesome. Never seen people so happy to be nearly killed by flying machine-gun robots. Really no need to bring XB1 into this thread... makes you seem kind of like a deranged fanboy.
Two different commercials, two completely different target audiences. End of story.
I have read practically nothing about this game. I don't even care. It's going to be amazing, that's the end of it.
BF3 is one of the only games I have ever played right up until the release of it's sequel. That is truly the mark of a great game.
Really nice. Love it.
"Welcome back, Killing Machine!"

I game online almost religiously... I have long since grown tired of linear/structured campaigns fought against lifeless, thoughtless AI. When I'm gaming offline, it's with friends, and against endless waves of increasingly stronger enemies. That, or GTA, which is just a riot.
I'm extremely excited to see how MS can transform/improve online gaming in the coming generation. I've been excited for this cloud stuff since the reveal. No longer will I get shot in th...
Any console that's hooked up to the internet can technically "do it".
Whether or not said company has the infrastructure to offer said capabilities efficiently and for hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of players at a time, is another issue entirely.
Glad to hear that the physics are shaping up really well. The E3 demo had me worries, but it seems like those worries were unfounded.
Day 1 buy for me. Now that Watchdogs is out, I have an extra slot, too.

"Right, because there is no way to see a feature in action until the console launches, you keep making more sense every time you open your mouth. "
Explain to me, outside of the tech demos and the explanations, how something like "cloud processing" could be demonstrated to your satisfaction without you actually being able to experience it?
How? Hmm? Because these things happen behind the scenes. It's not like you can watch data packets...
"you don't seem to understand that I'd like to see it in action. "
So go grab an XB1 and check it out.
OH WAIT, IT ISN'T OUT YET! Well then, I guess your just gonna have to settle for being a negative ninny. Bummer, bro.
lol. Yeah, I'm getting a PS4. Key word: getting. I have nothing to share with you. Another thing that isn't out yet: PS4. Shocking, right? And, when I do pick my PSN ID, I sure won't be gamin...
uhhh huhhhh......
#1: hundreds of thousands of calculations done remotely. Doesn't matter how you slice it. Videogames are a plethora of calculations. This merely demonstrated the ability of the cloud to do calculations in real time. If you don't think that applies to gaming... well... your trying too hard.
It's a tech demo. It's exactly what you were after, a concrete demonstration of the capabilities of the cloud. Suddenly thats not enough? ...

Sorry, can't let that stand/
Delaying until after the holiday season... for financial reasons?
Seems counter-intuitive.
I'm going to assume you meant to say "walk the walk". As "talking the talk" clearly doesn't cut it for you.

Thats one of my most anticipated games atm. I know we haven't seen any gameplay, but the concepts sound awesome.
Preparing for Titanfall.
.....you're kidding?
I mean, good.... I guess. But I was really looking forward to playing this day 1.
I guess that helps narrow down my day-1 choices. Definitely opens up a slot to be filled.
I could just as easily reverse that statement and throw it back at you.

Easy to be dismissive when your an Xbox detractor and a troll who doesn't care enough to learn about a game before dismissing it outright.
And calm down, already. Who are you trying so hard to convince?
@Xsilver
While you pick out an image file taken from a single frame, I have actually put the time into reading about the game and what it offers in terms of GAMEPLAY! Which is the reason why I'm interested in it.
We aren't all graphics whores.
Every little bit helps. Some people refuse to admit that. To them, its black/white, cut/dry, all/nothing.
Of course the cloud can't offer practical benefits... that's just SILLY!
Offensive? OK there, bud. I'm entitled to my opinion, and I don't really care if that offends you.
Put up or shut up.
Definitely. No need to raise any alarm bells quite yet.
But, I have heard a lot about the PS4 and it's heat issues lately. internal PSU, small chassis, and power-hungry RAM don't make me feel comfortable.
Needless to say, I have justified concerns. If my Day-1 PS4 goes belly up, you can rest assured that the irony will NOT be lost on me.
