Tablets are the natural evolution of PCs, and we still have those around. Sci-fi authors have been predicting tablet-style touch devices (desks) for decades. I don't see tablets/touch devices going anywhere for a long, long time.
Many of the people I know own one, or intend to get one in the near future.

Go to a spa, get a mani/pedi, grab a booster juice, go on a Caribbean cruise, take a yoga class, make spaghetti with a loved one, throw on some PJs, go dancing, or maybe just take a niiceeee slowwwww walk down by a slow-moving shallow stream. All of these things will alleviate the stress you appear to be suffering from.

I'm going all digital, and consolidating as many games as I can on my Xbox. The way I see it, the Xbox was designed for digital games, and the ability to summon them on command (literally) will make my gaming experience so much more fluid.
No longer will I need to dig into my massive disk collection when I want to play something.
I prefer my type of useless to yours :)
