Some people make shallow, negative statements so they can get lots of likes, to fill the void in their otherwise empty soul.

Pandering to emotional, angry consumers is the new black!

BF4, Titanfall, Dragons Age, Mirrors Edge, PVZ, Battlefront, all the biggest EA sports franchises.

Maybe "the best" is a matter of opinion, but EA is also entitled to theirs. And the above lineup is certainly nothing to scoff at... name a publisher with a better next-gen line up? The only name that comes to mind is Ubi Soft, and that's debatable.

Apparently it's cool to be dismissive. Heavy, you so cool. Negative comments = cool!

The person in the article, who has actually had hands-on time with the device, is singing it's praises. Meanwhile, a bunch of N4G people who both haven't tried the device and don't intend on buying an Xbox say that it's a useless gimmick and that the hardware/software is the same.

hmmmm......

Why do you care about parity?

I completely agree. But rush sort of solves that problem. I usually play infantry maps, or play deathmatch, as well. But yeah, some of the maps are way too big for conquest.

I thought it was a nice, informative little video. Cute girl, to boot.

How so? BF3 on X360 has had more longevity for me than any other game on the console. It's fantastic!

I have played it consistently from the time it released, up until next week when I switch over to BF4. You know you've got a good game when it can hold your attention for that long.

Should have given away knack rather than Resogun. I won't pretend to understand the finer points of Sony's finances, but it seems like giving away well-received games, and making people pay for mediocre games is a poorly thought-out strategy.

Though, maybe Knack will sell purely based on it's target market.... I dono.

Nice. Not that I need free games, but it's certainly a nice perk. I'll have both consoles, and a litany of free games! yayyy rampant consumerism!

How is "the cloud" a marketing term? We use it all the time at the office. It's just the common term used to describe a large number servers. I can walk into the room directly beside me and touch the cloud, if I really feel like it. Which I don't!

"The fact that “The Cloud” has now become a laughing stock in comment sections around the Internet should be an indicator to marketing companies that actions speak louder than vaporous words."

"Only when you run a game and then move to the menus does the system start to kick out some serious heat. We measured 50-degrees Celsius venting from the rear (better out than in, we say) with the casing itself heating up to 45 degrees - that's approaching launch PS3 territory. "

"Certainly, the notion of a game running simultaneously with the UI causing a surge in power consumption is very strange indeed and hopefully something that can be addressed with a...

"Why would someone buy a system that a $100 with most of their features locked behind a paywall?"

See, here we go. Rant time. Don't care. As I said, millions of people happily do it. It's not as bad as you make it out to be. An Xbox One is essentially useless without a XBL subscription, without Kinect, without all the things you probably hate anyways, so why bother ranting about it? Nobody is interested in your senseless objection. Are you or are you not pay...

Exactly. So to expect a respected gaming news site like IGN to bring up something to complain about because you "care" doesn't make much sense. They aren't there to provoke needless controversy or feed the trolls. It's not like the topic is censored... they bring it up all the time. It's just not worth dwelling on, because it's not a big deal and it isn't their job to drone on about something so trivial.

I happily pay for LIVE, and so do mill...

And here's the description:

"DICE developer Thomas Andersson breaks down the multiplayer experience in Battlefield 4 on Xbox One in this exclusive interview. "

See that big button that says "read the full interview" at the top?

Notice how in the article description, it's clearly labelled as an "interview"?

Notice how the interview is the important part?

It's much easi...

Probably because the only people who care about it have no intention of actually buying the console.

If you are (which it appears you are NOT) then you would know that there is plenty of footage out there if you care to go looking for it!

I would say you're making a mountain out of a molehill, but I've gotta give more credit to molehills. Maybe you're making a molehill out of... nothing?
