I use my Kinect every day. APP/game Switching, recording DVR, changing the volume on the TV, turning on my HT setup.
I wish all my devices were so useless.
I agree, I just cant fathom playing all the awesome games coming to Xbox, on account of that my feelingz are hurt. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go have emotions. Killing aliens and terrorists is for hippies.
Also, didn't they already free up the 10% GPU allocation from Kinect a few months ago? Are they allowed to do that twice?

I'm pretty sure they are still selling Xbox Ones complete with Kinect. It's not actually going anywhere.
You can also buy a PS4 and their camera.
Anyways, who cares? I bought both consoles for all the exclusives. There are more arguments for buying a console than processing power, a fact that many people around here are happy to blatantly ignore.

I agree. All the exclusive games I'm enjoying now, and all the exclusive games I'm looking forward to most, are for Xbox One. But I like online games and shooters, so it's a matter of preference.

It was inevitable, I wasn't expecting it so soon though. Good to get it out of the way before E3 so that they can focus on games, rather than have the show be dominated by hardware announcements like last year. Very smart.

I kind of see it like, SSOD is to GTA as PVZ is to Battlefield, which is awesome. Glad to see more stylistic games coming down the pipes. There's a reason people love Pixar and Dreamworks, and that's because they pioneered this sort of friendly people-pleasing aesthetic.

3rd party multiplat devs are keen to ignore it anyways, and first party devs will definitely still have a massive install base with the camera. If devs can create great software for it, there's no good reason not to. I dont really see the loss. But, either way, I really dont care at the end of the day.
