Yeah the film was pretty cool, not surprised to hear a sequel is in the works.
But the film is in the alternative unverse created when Spock and Nero went back in time. The game takes place in the prime universe.
Secret world isn't really my kind of thing.

So were A LOT of other people. It's just a shame that the launch was, kinda, crap.
I take it there will be 'raids' like other MMOs to keep end game players busy.
It's not a high fantasy MMO like WAR and AoC though. It has a different fan base.
Despite all the bluster pre-launch, Mythic failed. They made bets that it would get 500k subscribers easily - failed, that they wouldn't have to merge servers - failed.
I don't think it's going anywhere right now, but it's never going to be big. These job cuts are the final nail in the coffin.
Yeah it's fresh but... Hasn't sci-fi MMO been done? Tabula Rasa anyone?
Some games are incredibly creative with things like this, others are less so :P
Fans of the game should like it, depending on how true it is to the series.

There are many reasons why kids shouldn't see sex from an early age, but this stuff that's being complained about is ridiculous. Full frontal nudity = no way. Kissing and some side-boob = fine IMO. Worse than that on daytime TV.
