It never is with Blizzard...
Major shame, it was excellent on the beta. I can see how the system might've been abused though, and as Chilton said, it wasn't the most realistic experience.
Would be great if they made it more like a flight sim.
Indeed, entertaining write up.
Stunning gameplay
It's still not 100% either way.
Blizzard certainly have a lot to be proud of when it comes to their music.
It seems almost everything that company churns out becomes iconic.
I assume it's the same, yes. But come one, another car game from them?
I'm glad they're tackling the casting lag finally. The Live event should be fun, the last one was epic :)
Which is why they might want to have them as a permanent threat, but I can see now how that would be difficult, sadly.
Maybe they could start of as a moderate problem when you begin the game and get harder as your character progresses, with a big show down when you become very powerful. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the gameplay to say if this is possible in STO.
Because they adapt as they are attacked?
Yeah it was my favourite too, hands down.
To coin a phrase:
Join the queue.
The news about the doctor and the legal suit, that probably has something to do with the fact you can have holograms as proper crew members in the game.
This game is just so going to rule.
You've obviously never played Aliens vs Predator as a human in the dark then.
Well, would you continue playing if you got no experience? If you're cap level it doesn't matter though I suppose. They might limit gold earned too though.
No, after reading that you can see it's a separate thing, looks like if you play for 5 hours you stop getting XP at all. Just... speechless.
Yeah, Shhhh! Don't give them the idea!
But seriously, this is getting ridiculous. Can you imagine this happening in the western world?
Not on subscription MMOs, F2P ones are different. People sign up to them a lot quicker, and the lack of subscription means they're more likely to stay.
That's a very valid point about the F2P model, along with the fact that people have no subscription to sign up to after the first free month.
That's the trouble, so many chances for cheating, or at least gaining an unfair advantage with aerial attacks. That's why Wintergrasp is a no-fly zone.
