It takes a lot these days to get me excited about a multiplat game, sure some of them are great but in general too many of them just isnt as good as exclusives. The developers focus way too much to not step on anybones toes instead of make the best possible games.
Movies: several. Games: not that many but for example ICO, Shaddow of the Colossus and most recently Heavy rain.
Now this is a service that I´m interested in!
I stopped believe in what the developers say about the graphics of their game a long time ago...

But the funny thing is that this argument is as legitimate as almost all other arguments on this site, most people claim that their opinion is the truth.

Well, from my experience, if a game that looks interesting doesnt have a demo on psn I most likely wont buy it. But there are exceptions of course but then the game must really stand out and most of the games dont. So if they going to charge for demos its a big risk that I will be even more reluctant to buy the game. But thats just me, maybe the majority of people think its ok or get used to it after a while...
It´ll be interesting to see if or what impact the limitation of dvd has on this game since Kojima wanted even moore space than bluray for MGS4. Will the game be on several discs? Or will it be as good as MGS4 but on one dvd (which would imply that the bluray wasnt needed for MGS4)?
I´m not interested in starting some kind of fanboy war but these question are interesting I think.

I have lost faith in the correct use and meaning of the word exclusive. It´s hard to believe a company when they claim that a game is exclusive. But there are a few examples where it is obvious that the game is exclusive i.e. when the game is owned by a console maker.
War, what is it good for? Stealing a country´s oil of course.

Yeah, they should. But they (the statistics) should be integrated in the game or better yet in the consoles os. I could never be bothered to go to a website for each game to check out the stats.
You forgot the word "timed" before exclusive... :)
And BAM! Bioware just killed the countdown as a hype machine, in a second the whole thing was annihilated. From now on companies going to use a countdown for when they have the next coffe break, what time they get of work etc etc.
Maybe they should look into how effective the company are if they sell 1.5 million copies and still cant break even. Just a suggestion...
Well Microsoft have showed that you can get away with a faulty product as long as 3 years (or was it more before they introduced the extended warranty). I´m not saying that this problem is as widespread but I do believe that companies learn from each other. And if costumers dont care and still keep buying the product there is no need to handle the problem. I wish it wasnt like that but reality tells me otherwise...
I´m a fan and I havent wanted it but I understand if a lot of people do. I kind of like the updates to be on thursday, the day before the weekend start (that is friday 16:00). Almost just in time for the weekend which is when I got more time to play.
And the gamers loose because exclusive games is better than multiplat. In my opinion anyway.
