"Selling 1 million units is no longer enough". No it might not, I do know. But it certainly not enough to make 5-6 h single player games anymore. Not for me anyway, it´s just not worth it, no matter how good those hours are because with so many games out on the market it´s always possible to find games that are longer and almost as good in quality.
Yeah, I agree Jashwin. I was playing coop last night with a friend and we had a really good time. I can´t even remember how many times we killed each other, accidently, with that magma cannon. That was really funny sh*t :)
I really like that you have to cooperate to clear the levels, you cant just shoot like a maniac but you have to think were you shoot.
Love the physics in the game!
Great game!
It´s a good game. I´ve been playing it for a couple of days now. It´s fun to mess with the nazis, blowing up their sniper nests, tanks etc. But the mood of the game is also very good, the way the game uses colors really increase the tension in the game.
Differences between the two version!? And those differences are made deliberately by a third part developer!? I´m shocked! I never thought I would live to see that day.
This game looks interesting, it has an unusual concept mixing shooter with fantasy. Maybe they want to get the Japanese gamers more into shooters?
How about go back to what Resident evil was good at, i.e. being a survival/horror game instead of this quasi action bs.
I don´t think that it´s a completely unrealistic idea that there will be a firefox browser on ps3. It might be good for the both parties, more people will use the firefox browser (which of course is good for Mozilla) and Sony doesnt need to spend time and resources on updating the web browser.
It seems like the web browser is a good service for a lot of people so it would benefit Sony if their consumers were happy with the browser, which they don´t seem to be.
I havent heard about until now. I was just complaining on the EU blog how hard it is to get online with your friends on a ps3 due to the fact that more or less all games use different system when it comes to connecting to a friend and play online.
But this is how it should be done I think, seems like a good system IF ALL GAMES use this otherwise the problem with a variety of systems still exist.
If all games use this system it would be sooooo much easier for every people who wants...
Yeah but the thing is, it´s one thing to be aware or pay attention to what people are saying and it´s whole other thing to actually do something about it.
I still haven´t seen any fix for the ridiculous amount of bugs in Fallout 3. It´s a disgrace and it´s disrespectful to the consumers.
I really like the game, I do, but there must be some sort of quality control of games.
Battlefield needs this function that MW2 got where after you getting killed it shows you how you got killed. It´s really annoying in Battlefield 1943 (and also in bad company 1 I think) that you don´t have a clue of what just happen when you got killed. It´s says who killed you in really small letters for 1 ms but that doesn´t help.
Isnt Valve showing a great example of how NOT to run a business? Like saying stupid things about one audience/group and by doing that alienating them from that group which means that that group asscociate Valve with something negative.
At least to me, these days when I hear of Valve I think of them as something negative not as a great developer and that wont help Valve to get my money if they do decide to develop games for ps3.
Straight from the Dice dude:
"Getting access to the beta will differ from country to country, but here are a few specific ways of getting hold of a key:
* We’ll be holding a special limited giveaway right here on the PlayStation Blog (details TBA)
* Pre-ordering the game at participating retailer
* Checking out selected gaming sites such as IGN or GameSpot in North America."
So you DONT have to pre-order to join the ps3 beta.
"We want them [gamers] to be emotionally shocked"
They forgot to mention that they also want the gamers to be broke :P
To LeonSKennedy4Life:
I choose mac over Pc because in the long run it have given me much much more time to do what I want to do with my computer. With my pc I had to spend a lot of time figuring out how the not-so-user-friendly software from ms worked and I also had to do a lot of trouble shooting. Sure its more expensive than a pc but in the long run all the time and frustration saved is worth it.
Wow its a war out there! But Ms really deserves it. But not from Apple but from Sony.
So I guess this is one of the reason peer-to-peer is better than dedicated servers? And maybe the only reason?
It´s a shame third party developers only care about making as much money as possible instead of trying to make the best game they can. We, they gamers are the ones who suffers while the developers laugh all the way to the bank.
I want to believe that before video game business became as big as it has gotten more developers took pride in trying to make the best game they could. These days there seem to be a lot of developers who are only in the business to make as much money as poss...
I bought Uncharted 2 but not Brutal Legend...
One of the benefits are less impacts on our environment/planet. Oh yeah, I forgot, Nintendo don´t give a rats ass about our planet.

Great example of how MS is bullying people. For the 360 owners there are no gain in this action, they would have got it even if it wasn´t a time exclusive. To me it sounds strange that a company have a business plan to bullying people. It´s just stupid, I´d never buy a 360 because of this, it shows that MS doesnt care about there costumers, if they were, they would have spend that money on things that actually would benefit the 360 owners instead.
