It will be interesting to see how this pans out, on both systems, but I don't see how the Xbox will be able to produce a quality CG animation game in full 3HD, akin to Ratchet and Clank. I only say that because they have yet to produce a game similar to that quality on the 360, and the new Banjo Kazooie doesn't even come close to ratchet and Clank. Still could end up being excellent medium for both systems to exploit

LR is a complete failure on the 360 which is a shame because it will reflect on the PS3 and PC versions and end up killing those sales. Both articles have their points, but if the games SE have released on the 360 are any indication of the way they are headed than the 360 can keep The Last Remnant. The review scores have been pretty telling as have the sales of both UI and TLR, hopefully the time left until the PS3 version of TLR releases they will significantly improve what seems to be a very flawed game, one that I was very excited about.

Uncharted 2 would still be in its alpha phase wouldn't it, so I wouldn't expect it to be that graphically different than the first, yet!? By the time it comes out it should look substatntially better and I hope they fix the texture pop in that would show up at times in the first. GoW3 is gonna be friggin' epic. Thank god there are great games coming next year because there are very few other forms of entertainment that are going to be as good(great movies will be few and far between)
@Silogon: You are absolutely right, its refreshing to see someone with the same mindset as myself. Compelling RPG's will help some but a price cut even at $50 will help a lot and by the time it gets down to $300 all bets are off.
LBP is playing, though projected, on the wall next to the couple in the second ad. I like the little ads that lead into a bigger ad. Hopefully that bigger ad will be better than the marketing the have done, it's getting better, but nowhere near the pushes they have given to games in the past, and that's what made them(PSOne PS2) sell so well. LBP ads need a new narrator, they guy that does it now just doesn't have the voice or acting talent to properly sell it.
They should have done this a long time ago, it definitely would have expanded their US audience quicker.
