Jack Tretton has confirmed that even after over a million pre-orders booked, they will still have enough stock to keep the market and stores stocked so that people can buy off the shelves.
Game4u.com is taking pre-orders for India with a deposit of Rs.3,000.
Completely agreed upon. Giving time for the feedback and to actually listen to it and implement can go a long ways for a game. Yearly instalments do go stale after sometime.
Actually the series went downhill after Brotherhood. But I'm afraid that if they start milking this series as well then another IP will be lost.
But alternating years could work out in favour.
This is possibly because many people get beaten to pre-orders allotted to their retailers. Hence finding a console on launch day in a store is next to impossible as the units they get all get locked up on pre-orders.
IMO, Sony allotted shelve units as well to keep the flow steady.
Jack Tretton has mentioned that they have enough stock apart from pre-orders on launch day that regular markets and stores will have them and people can get it.
This may very well be a history-making launch.
So consoles owners should up and leave their systems and exclusives in favour of PC Master Race?
Except Ryse is an exclusive title not a multi-plat game.
Ubisoft means John Reese from Person Of Interest right?
This shows that we should be ever keen with Valve and Steam.
Who knows when they might 'stealthily' drop something regarding Half-Life 3: The Dream
@Abriael
Sir, it's also not healthy or good journalism if you get kind of jealous or what not from the already heated article here on N4G. Your article directly takes a cheap shot at it.
IMO it's not good journalism. Criticism and competition is always healthy and should remain like that instead of degrading one's self and taking cheap shots.
Have a good day.
Along with this, I want the The Last Of Us on PS4 as well in full 1080p glory. I guess that will happen 2-3 years in PS4's lifecycle.
Cage's projects are pretty awesome. Heavy Rain was the indication of that. Microsoft blew the opportunity to have Heavy Rain on Xbox, and Cage finally found home with PlayStation.
Yeah the show is great and similarities and the art, style and animation stuff among these two are uncanny.
Yeah, MS has games. Like this generation hasn't told the story to everyone...
The point of everything is that Microsoft over-promised on everything and is now under delivering.
Another disappointment?
How many are there now in total?
KI = 720p/60fps
Ryse = 900p + now this
Dead Rising 3 = 30fps locked
Ofcourse many complaining here including me care deeply about how the game was build up and how it got a unique distinction among other games. VA was one of them.
Kojima does bring something new at the table with every MGS and all of us here will be playing the game as well (for the story if nothing else).
The thing that I feel that led Kojima go this root is he is tired of MGS, Konami's biggest money making machine is MGS and if it benches it, they won...
It's a business practice and a strategic move by Rockstar. Current-gen consoles already have an install base of millions, making it available for that platform makes sense to reach the available market.
A PC port/Next-gen port wasn't announced because IMO, people would've withheld buying the current-gen versions and would've waited for a better port.
MGSV is becoming disappointing after disappointing with every reveal.
Destiny Beta has already been confirmed. DeeJ, Bungie's community manager confirmed http://gearnuke.com/public-...
