Sony's big black box is definitely on a roll. 2007 was a slump for sure, but 2008 and 2009 held the biggest block busters and are still yet to come.

At the time I was playing with a 256MB XFX 8600GTS with a 1680x resolution and it works flawlessly, I did overclock the card by (est) 100-120 mhz.
I was averaging 35 FPS with 4x anti-aliasing and 8x filter (antio)
It looked great and played great as for what system you should get it for, I've played both and beaten both and I have to agree, Left 4 Dead is a straight up PC game but it works ...

As far as I'm aware no AA was found at 300% zoom, unless you have eagle eyes you won't notice a difference.
And for the loading times, I installed it on my hard drive and it loads instantly.
It's really uncomfortable being forced to use the D-PAD on the 360 controller, and forcing yourself to use it because of no alternatives is even worse. Buy yourself a fighting stick or an actual fight pad.
Either way this is a game that deserves to be play with 3rd party peripherals like fighting sticks, although the D-PAD on the PS3 works flawlessly.

I definitely think it can. This reminds of the PS2 argument. Where it was really tapped out and then games like SotC and God of War 2 really were eye candy.
I wouldn't mind having some of the best games ever and then letting my console of preference fade in to obscurity.

If PS3 went the way of the Dreamcast it would probably be immortalized.
Look at how many awesome games Dreamcast has, and now look how many awesome games PS3 has.
It would be the same if Xbox 360 faded, they would all be immortalized because of the games.

While Sony is having a really good couple years with Exclusives, it's by no means done yet. This generation of consoles isn't even over yet.
