Dear salty xbox fans,
So...let me get this straight. Now that the tables have turned, it's no longer about graphics, or sales, or number of games, or any other QUANTIFIABLE measurement, it's about something subjective like "preference"? Good to know, but here's the cold hard truth: more people "prefer" the PS4 than the xbone. Another FACT, you can talk about buying games for whatever console you like, but the sales figures clearly show that more people ...
Don't see why you got a disagree. You just stated a FACT. Sony has ALWAYS beaten Microsoft. The PS2 dominated the original Xbox. The PS3 struggled a bit against the 360, but still won last gen. And at the beginning of this gen, Sony is once again dominating MS. I'm not saying people can't or won't enjoy gaming on an xbone, but I wish they'd stop deluding themselves about who makes the better system.
@Metroid Umm...the console wars have been going on forever, we just didn't have the internet back then. And if you don't think it matters, ask Atari, Sega, or any other now defunct console producer. And as for...oh never mind. After reading your follow up comment to HeWhoWalks I just realized you reek of salt and cognitive dissonance.
Gratz to Notch! You deserve every penny good sir! Still scratching my head over this acquisition though. I guess it doesn't matter, MS has overseas money to burn.
@saltysadist Lol. PS4 has more games than xbone. Fact! Where are MS's freaking games? Collecting dust on store shelves.
OT: Sony wins another month? But some Xbox fans were telling me EA Access was gonna push the xbone past the ps4. What happened?
So it's not really an "exclusive" then. Am I the only one that wishes the term "timed exclusive" would just disappear?
EDIT: Regardless of it's exclusivity, this game has piqued my interest. Definitely going to keep an eye on it.
Can you imagine if the next Halo was a PS 4 exclusive? The bots would lose their minds. Let them have their timed-exclusives. They need it.
@Snookies How are you getting disagrees?! Dear MS only people, if it isn't exclusive to one system, then you don't get to call it an exclusive. ie. Titanfall...Fact. Although, if I only owned THAT console, I'd be defensive too.
@pedro The only way "PS became Xbox" is if Sony produced the technically INFERIOR console, had fewer first-party studios, was last place in sales...again, etc...Fact.
FOR THE LAST TIME, enjoy whatever console you want, but stop deluding yourselves.
Dear N4G Readers:
Just in case you forgot the following FACTS:
1)Sony has more first-party studios then MS. Fact.
2)Sony has outsold, and is still outselling, MS in every gen since the original Xbox. Fact.
3)The PS4 is technically superior to the Xbox 1. Fact.
4)Sony exclusives have won more GOTY awards then MS exclusives have. Fact.
5)MS produced the Xbox 360. The console with the highest fail rate in the history of video games. Fact.
6...
@Flamingweazel As a die hard Sony fan, even I'm baffled by your choice to bring up xbox owners in this article.
@Gameon and Dom Go home. You're both drunk.
OT: I don't know what Sony has got up there sleeves, but I'm looking forward to whatever announcement.
I've said it once, and I'll say it again: before MS entered the video game industry the word "exclusive" actually meant "exclusive". Back then when companies like Atari, Nintendo, Sega, or Sony said a game was going to be exclusive it was because it was exclusive to their console. It didn't come out on pc, or a rival console months later. It amazes people forget this.
Lol. MS hasn't bought squat, and you know it. Seriously, name the last AAA MS bought. I'll wait.
Sony has more games, has higher rated games, and is the more powerful system. Fact. Get over it.
@nicksetzer NOTHING you posted was true! How the heck do you have four bubbles?! I swear the mods on this site...
OT: Why are we still talking about this?! No one cares. MS spent money on a timed exclusive. Big deal. That's what MS does.
@dudebro Don't get it do you? Allow me to spell it out for you and the other hardcore xbone fans.
1) MS didn't pay for a "third party exclusive". They paid for a timed-exclusive of a sequel for a franchise that originated on a different console.
2) MS invented timed-exclusives. Video game companies(ie. Nintendo, Atari, Sega, Sony, etc) didn't do this "back in the day". If they said it was "exclusive", it was ACTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.
...
@Tiqila Xbot? Sony Fanboy? Nintendrone? It doesn't matter. I think we can all agree that you are a total d-bag.
@Clown More power to you. Addictions of any kind are tough things to deal with, but it seems like you've got your priorities straight and that you've got everything under control.
I wonder if the people saying this isn't a big deal would say the same thing if games like the next Halo or Zelda became a timed-exclusive of Sony's.
BTW, in case yall forgot, "timed-exclusives" was an invention of Microsoft. Before they came on the scene, any game that was labeled "exclusive" was actually "exclusive".
@Mac Lol. You think the xbone isn't selling because 360 owners haven't upgraded to the next-gen yet?! Lol.
OT: Sony's lead is wide and it's only getting wider. And Sony hasn't even released it's big guns yet.
To everyone buying this game,
Buy it for whatever console you like, but as Lukas Japonicus said: "I can't wait to play this on the PS4 at a crisp 1080p. XD"
Bu...but...I like the controller...derp! I'm sorry, when I'm playing video games, the first thing I see are the "graphics" and the LAST thing I'm thinking about is the controller. But then again, I've gamed on every major system since Magnavox was in the game. Adjusting to a new cont...
