SMH. Is the MS crowd confused on what an "exclusive" is again? Let me explain it...again. IF A GAME APPEARS ON MORE THAN ONE PLATFORM, THEN IT'S NOT EXCLUSIVE TO THAT PLATFORM. Now let me give some easy to follow examples:
Super Mario Bros. was EXCLUSIVE to the Nintendo.
Altered Beast was EXCLUSIVE to the OG Sega console.
Battle Arena Toshinden was EXCLUSIVE to the PlayStation.
Tenchu was EXCLUSIVE to the PlayStation.

Then look up total world wide sales figures. The Xbox One is closer to the Wii U than they are to the PS4.

Agreed. BC is a nice feature, but BC doesn't sell consoles. If I wanted to play last gen's games, I'd play them on last gen's consoles. BC would only be a big deal if my console of choice had a limited library of games.

Pachter is right. The Xbox One will sell like the proverbial "hot cakes" thanks to "teh cloud powerz"! Thanks to the "cloud" ONE game's multiplayer mode will supposedly get completely destructible environments. That and TIMED exclusives. Console War over! Ugh...Kinect. I remember people boasting that Kinect was the future. Some people did it both last gen AND this gen. Funny how that worked out.
OT: VR gaming does intrigue the crap out of me and I'll definitely be keeping tabs on it, but let's not fall into the same trap of overhyping something like people did with Kinect and are now doing with "cloud" computing.

I loved playing Jet Set Radio on my Dreamcast. Having said that, there's a darn good reason the PS 2 dominated that gen.
