Sounds really great but I think I'll wait until it goes down to a more affordable price and more DLC is out there. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

If they do something akin to achevements/trophies, I think they should come up with a different name for them.
I have a few problems with this list:
Goldeneye - Yeah I'm sure there are newer games out there in the FPS genre but there is something that fun and cool about this seminal classic. There were so many nights with good friends playing spilt-screen.
Pokemon - My goodness you remember going to the first movie back in 98 and that makes you feel old? It was 1998 not 1898.

I do own a Wii and I do buy such games! I know you like to 'think' you know what Wii owners like and all but I can see you actually don't.
I read this review and I have to say that I don't think that the score was unjustified. All the problems that the author stated was either not mentioned or was not as big a deal. Also it seems that the game only would have been good had it been on an HD system and not the Wii.

One would think that predictions would be made shortly after the launch of the system itself and then base it on the customer response and 1st and 2nd day sales.
I know a few people who use their phones to game but they use emulators to play classic games, on the phone itself. :P
As long as the soundtrack has a similar feel to the 1st and 2nd games; I won't mind.
P.S. The graphics are really great so far on the HD version.

I can't speak for the others but I still do. I have other consoles but I don't have a lot of time so I usually alternate between my consoles.
I am sorry but I have to disagree with your statement about Nintendo. Yes, Nintendo's software indeed leans towards family oriented titles but playing them doesn't make you less of a "gamer;" just as playing Gears of War or Call of Duty makes you more of a "gamer." You are using rather broad strokes in your definition of a "gamer."

The bots might be worth it, if we can have a choice in how they behave (up to a point).
I don't mind the lives system; in 'arcade' style of games, it still works. But I can see it not really being needed in other types of games.

I gave you bubbles up for a well stated argument but disagree with you. I think that consoles will still be needed but I don't think that what we think of as "Traditional consoles" will stay the same; I think that there will be a paradigm shift in terms of construction and size.
