The entire situation from when geohot started this was entirely engaging and provoking. He's an idiot, but not in an intellectual sense and knew there would be a backlash of some point. Regardless he did it out of foolish pride and ego. The whole "fighting for the right of blah blah blah" was nothing but a facade. He was trying to show off, thats what makes him a moron.
And anonymous is not a group, they are a bunch of people smart enough to know where to ga...
Sonic generations is slated for holiday 2011. And usually some sonic games come out in the US or EU before Japan so sega was definitely referring to a western release.
So yeah fake, at least for most of whats on the second image.
Funny. Usually the "douchebags" i run into at the bars and clubs usually make it very obvious they have a 360. Especially with those HALO shirts that were all the craze back when that series meant something for the generic entry level college students.
You don't expect that out of gaming news, you expect that out of gaming fanboys.
How many times has the news clearly stated from official sources that our credit card info has been encrypted and that our CVC or card code was never obtained in the first place? And how many third party wannabe websites dominated by hysterical fanboys say otherwise?
Uhm hello? you always run a risk when you give out your card information anywhere. you're safer if you don't give it to random sources that are unheard of i.e. internet scams.
Usually the card bearer is the one who makes that decision and should take responsibility over and consequences for taking such risk.
That being said, i think the chances are still low.
I think the chances of my money getting stolen are the same of my ps3 going dead with the yellow light.
3 people? 2 of which with the same amount stolen? I don't think someone would leave such an obvious trail by taking out similar transactions.
take it with a grain of salt anyway. I ordered a new card like most should do, if you gave psn your card number i urge you to call your bank for a new one.
Yeah it's very unlikely that credit card info was stolen, sony does note that it's a possibility but they won't know for sure until further analysis done by the tech security firm.
So far it's name, address, date of birth, and email.
@captain obvious
Yeah you're right, wasn't XBL down for a bit too? longer than this so far? Like two weeks during holiday season?
I dunno where the hell you've been but anon is not having a blast. They settled for something they claim was suitable after things got out of hand. They've been playing damage control for awhile now.
They released a response video. seriously? If they were having a blast why bother then? Their current actions/mannerisms do not support your claim. They're were trying to save their name as a group who defends those affected by unjust action...
Lets just hope another self righteous minded retard hacker doesn't try cracking this one if it's true..
I really don't want to suffer in some way like i did with this current stool storm. Ugh.
@Brosy
We "sony fanatics," or consumers as people who aren't jerks refer to us, shouldn't keep our mouths shut at all when someone threatens to take down a service to us gamers.
