If not the first to offer. Because Microsoft is the Ctrl+C.
The netflix thing was a great idea though, that was like the only thing that had me going "great move." But everyone knew those avatars look like updated Miis. The whole movie service thing via the game network was PlayStation's idea.
MS is keeping a close eye on the competition, and making a lot of foul moves.... what does that say for the fans of the system? Do they care that the idea is com...
Maybe if the artistic style and overall concept was more unique and not stolen, maybe then you could call it fresh. They're just a Mii with updated bodies and graphics. Functionality and style are just the same as the nintendo Mii.
First off, sony does have exclusives you fool. They DO have third party support (Final fantasy versus <square-enix>, Naruto ultimate ninja storm <Cyber Connect>, Disgaea <Nippon Ichi>, etc.)
Not only that, but sony is willing to help those third party companies with features such as trophies and in game music.
Not all games require an install.
And developing updates take time and use of intelligence, something that you are not aware ...
Hell, screw being creative, lets just steal their idea ALONG with their style.
At first i thought i was watching some sort of Nintendo mii thing, then i realized it was microsoft. Those fools know how awkward it was to steal like that, the crowd was silent and i think people were laughing at that. I know everyone was thinking "wow.. they just stole a lot of ideas there." during that conference.
In some ways though, final fantasy 13 is still a ps3 exclusive, it's not coming out for the 360 in japan... only for EU and US. God i was mortified when i heard the FF XIII announcement...
It showed it along with infinite undiscovery, the president said that starting off the line with "the first two of the games..." and so on. It has already been confirmed that star ocean the last hope is an exclusive.
After hearing information regarding to FF 13 coming to the 360, i feel the only way for them to steal the show is to announce FF 7 in some form for the ps3, make a startling announcement for HOME, show the secret sony game(?), and provide reasons why they are innovative and not a copy-cat like Microsoft.
My major thing for ps3 is of the square-enix titles that will come for it. I feel a bit betrayed after hearing about final fantasy 13 not being an exclusive anymore.... great now i have to deal with this fact and that star ocean is a 360 exclusive.
I really dislike 360, it was really awkward watching their e3 conference, it felt like they looked at their competition and just hit Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V on their system.... They're such a Mii clone! i can't believe they can get a...
Sony is getting into the psn scene with that fighting game and brave fencer musashi.
And it's safe to assume that more than a complete remake because of their current projects, porting a psone game is much easier and that would rake in some dough for them with little cost of providing the game, huge profit.
Square-Enix is spending an awful lot of time with the new ps3 final fantasy 13 games. If they have to install on the hard-drive, imagine the wait time for that! bwaahahhasahhahahahaahahha
I say we just get used to it now, i mean.... we do own computers right? aren't we used to this "installing to hard-drive" concept?
I looked up the game and i think it's out only for japan. Although i would welcome anyone to correct me on this because i know wiki can be unreliable and i'm too lazy to look this game up entirely.
Kotaku made a statement yesterday stating just the opposite, and probably realized they were wrong when neogaf did a consensus topic about who ACTUALLY had the problem. Kotaku should just give up on giving ps3 updates to people who go to that site, it's obvious the only one's who find it useful are 360 fanboys. Biased site is nothing more than an opinion, not news.
I never had any problems so far.... and i've been using my ps3 alot since the update.... although i don't have any games that support the trophy system, maybe i should get Super Stardust HD
There are no ads as on the psn.... Hell they advertise movies by putting trailers on their psn.... but that doesn't work in the the way of being in your face in that annoying sort of way, you view them if you want to, and usually people want to. Like that new WALL E movie, i downloaded both previews for the movie to get myself hyped up and it was worth it.
