No it's measuring in a different location and removing heat is a good thing.
Taking a thermal image of the back of a PS5 is not a thermal test. It should be hot. That means it's working properly. It'd be like thermally imaging the back of a passive PSU and declaring that one near ambient under full load is "good" because all the heat is trapped in the box.

This has literally never happened. The Xbox E3 was underwhelming as hell. The Horizon youtube trailer was far more exciting than everything Microsoft showed put together.

A TV screen is in no way bright enough to damage your eyes. It would have to be 100 times brighter.
