@OtterX It's in the credit URL actual story. No need to get upset.
He specifically says it won't be a racing game of any kind.
He's comparing PCs to consoles and expecting console level performance for the same price on a budget PC rig. Not going to happen. PS4/Xbox One Era was a fluke because the CPU was so limited. PS5 on the other hand has a great CPU and GPU not to mention fast RAM and a super fast SSD.
Love it or hate it he is always coming up with something fresh. How many indie horror games did that PT teaser spawn? 100 or more?
If it is a truly dark horror game that is also an RPG the combination could be interesting indeed.
No Stray? You biffed it.
There are a lot of VR exclusives. Most of the best VR games are exclusive to either Oculus, PSVR, or Steam VR.
Some creatives care less about making huge piles of money and more about making something interesting. Especially at the beginning and twilight of their careers. VR is the future.
Nice to see Kena make the recommendation list. Not exactly a deep cut though.
Yeah and I gave my opinion on their opinion. And then you gave an opinion on what you imagine my opinion to be. See how this whole communication thing works? Crazy isn't it.
My money is on a PSVR 2 exclusive. Can you imagine what a Kojima VR game might be like? 😱
Well, besides first party games there weren't many great games released in 2021. RE8 used it well too I think. Their main complaint seems to be about a lack of gyro aiming. It's a fun feature but I prefer the analog sticks. Trying to use gyro aiming while also utilizing the rest of the buttons on the controller is too much like patting my head and rubbing my belly at the same time. Maybe I could get used to it but since MS have still not put a gyro in their controller don't expect...
Bad choices. It's IGN though so I don't know what I expected.
1 God of War
2 Horizon Forbidden West
3 Gran Turismo 7
4 Forspoken
5 Stray
They should just do a co-production with Blue Point for their next game and really blow people's socks off.
The AI in TLOU2 is a generation ahead of anything else and PSVR is the leader in VR outside of underpowered wireless versions. 🙄
Strange thing to say as I don't think they've ever made an fps before.
Yeah not really a thrilling addition to the gaming world. Even Nintendo has the balls now to pay for their ridiculously limited online service. Let's not forget that Dreamcast shipped with a modem as well and their online service was free.
Makes sense. You can't develop software for hardware that doesn't exist yet but you can and should develop hardware that expands the potential capabilities of software.
For $400 you get an epic 4k gaming machine. The Xbox Series X is $500 so if you're talking about TF per dollar the PS5 DE is by far the better proposition.
