You can get a gpu that will play most games today on high settings for under a hundred bucks. Both Nvidia and ATI offer some serious bang for you buck.
You can blame Activision all you want but they had every right to fire those two leads and withold the extra cash. Activision is the sole owner of Call of Duty, not IW and they can do whatever they want with it even if they run it into the ground (which they wont, people will still buy Treyarch's CoDs by the millions for years and years to come). IW has no right to claim extra cash just because the game sold so absurdly well, they were paid when they started the project.

Starbreeze is an amazing developer and they've made some of the best story driven first person hybrid shooter/action games of all time probably, but a bourne game sounds like an epic snorefest, gimme some sci-fi
THE XCOM FRANCHISE IN CAPABLE HANDS!!!
The description they gave was spot on of the feeling of the original at least. But the big announcement will be Firaxis' new tactical turn based shooter XCOM reboot which is going to be the real deal.
I'm psyched this guy has such strong opinions about those game's is story telling, which can only mean that they'll at least try to whip out a good story, which is way more than I can say for the original Crysis.
To be honest MW2's story made no sense and they were better off just not having a story at all. Halo's story fell off when Bungie realized where the $$$ was, and that was multiplayer and ultimately had an ambitious story that would have been good if they spent a lot mor...
Even though Crysis's story was horrible, he didn't write it. What he DID write was Homeworld 2's story which was very good, but not as compelling as the first.
I really like Halo's story though, even though the games are f*cking horrible beyond the original the fiction is very solid especially if you read the books.
So that's why the campaign for Halo 2 sucked huge balls. The biggest gaming dissapointment in my life IMO, it had an ambitious story that would have matched Halo CE if it hadn't been wrapped in a 6 hour long hideously designed campaign. the MP was good for dual wielding....otherwise I could have gone and played BF2 which was about 10 times better and subscription free.
If I was shooting and/or getting shot at I'd be dropping F bombs left and right. It's just realistic.
You guys are all F*cking idiots

Diablo 2, 60 bucks, Starcraft I, 60 bucks, Blizzard has charged 60 bucks for all of their games except for WoW and now because of inflation 60 bucks is cheaper than 50 bucks back then, so in reality the game has gotten cheaper. So quit your crying, and suck it up unless you want to miss out on what will most likely be the best vanilla RTS expe...
Too bad kotor 2 sucked total balls compared to the first one
That they can still make another Battlezone game?
LOL at all the console purists who have no idea what they're talking about. If you have at least a dual core machine with 3D capabilities you can pretty much play almost any game on the market. So basically if you own a PS3 and a PC you can play every single hardcore and casual game on the market barring handhelds and 1st party Wii games of course.
Geralt = total badass
This looks so good
He can at least write Homeworld 3 from jail. Except Homeworld 2's story sucked compared to the first one.
PC gamers have better things to do on their computers than participate in insane fanboy wars that take place here, like maybe playing games, downloading games (hopefully legally although for most that's not the case), watching TV on my slingbox, and all of the other things you can do on a computer.
This is real, its a good exploit, but itll be fixed soon probably
I have money saved up specifically to buy this card, but I'll definitely be picking up the EVGA build of this, that card looks butt ass ugly.
But will it be fun? It certainly looks like this year's AA, but who knows.
KZ2 is a great looking game, but Crysis always looked better, and Crysis 2 looks even more impressive.
Although, unfortunately AAA titles are starting to go for 60 bucks on the PC now as well. BUT! the games are still generally cheaper thanks to DD services such as Steam and Impulse because of the sales!
