Where the f*ck is ARMA II, Operation Flashpoint, Crysis and/or Far Cry, Ghost Recon? This is list doesn't make any damn sense.
The campaign for SC2 is three times as long as the original. It's just being broken up into three parts. Unless you'd like to just play a standard single player campaign broken up into three short segments after waiting 12 years for the continuation of the Starcraft story. I'll take my triple long story thank you very much, and thank you Blizzard for making excellent games.
Geralt looks like a total badass, same with Triss Merrigold, what a babe! Miranda is totally hot minus her mild case of uncanny valley syndrome. Where's the characters based on the Oblivion engine? Those guys are so butt ass ugly its ridiculous.
Damn, I'm so excited for this.
Microsoft sucks at bringing their first party titles to the PC because they don't want to see that money get sucked away by pirates. Despite them not pushing the PC gaming in any significant way and in fact denying PC gamers more games because of their pirate phobia, Microsoft still provides the infrastructure on which we game, without a new Direct X every other year or so PC games wouldn't look half as pretty as they do now.
So I see the relationship between Micro...
"We invented the first person shooter genre" said while holding a 360 controller in his hands.
show the PC footage if you wanna show off graphics.
Rockstar doesn't like putting out their games on the PC because of piracy and Q&A, and the GTAIV PC port was poorly optimized, they really put out a shoddy product there not cool.
Kotick's not saying that there will be an additional monthly fee to play Activision games online. He's trying to set up a service that will allow for people to BUY content for their games. Battle.net is 100 percent free, it always has been and it always will. HOWEVER, what has changed is that Battle.net is now a platform on which you can buy content for your games; unique items for WoW and maps and custom games for Starcraft II.
This is just horse armor all over again...
According to the article, which I guess nobody read, Newell had told a PS3/360 reporter that the announcement "Wouldn't interest you". Which narrows it down some, assuming that this is a real statement by Newell (which it probably isn't). I'd say its the engineer update combined with some crazy TF2 announcement, since console f@gs don't give a sh*t about TF2 anyway.
No noticeable visual difference between the PC and console version? Well obviously the graphics are going to get middled by that. HOWEVER, its not like when Doom 3 came out it was the best looking game out there, the Source engine proved to be much more versatile and long lasting, but Doom 3 was pretty good nonetheless. id is a small developer and they've made 1 game in the past 10 years. They're glory days might be over due to the production values of games this generation but I woul...
My heart broke in half when he didn't mention it was coming out for the PC.
Itsgonna be cool but you can already do this with the map editor in starcraft2's beta right now
This game will fail so hard if it doesn't have mod support.
The reason why Apple hates on Flash so much is 1: it runs like sh*t on their weak ass expensive computers and 2: it would decimate their monopolistic app store because a large amount of those games could be played for free with Flash
Good news for me and my Android phone.
That Blizzard is a money grubbing whore and doesn't know how to make games. The potential to make thousands of custom games with this editor is totally a bad deal for a 60 dollar price tag, and 2 priced expansions.
Your damn stupid. Cause Blizzard obviously makes crappy games that have unnecessarily long development cycles right? Starcraft set a new bar previously set by Westwood for storytelling in RTS games, Warcraft III set that bar higher with RPG characters that progressed not only powerwise but storywise as well. Starcraft II is raising the bar again with 3 full length campaigns that are equal the length of the original respectively. If you think that's a bad deal that I don't know what the hell y...
I can do this on my 360 already, who plays games on the PC anyway, its dead obvz
LOL @ everyone just assuming their getting ripped off by what could arguably be the greatest game developer of all time.
1st: nobody knows how they will price the 2nd and 3rd parts so lets not jump the gun here and assume they will be all 60 bucks
2nd: Your paying for three full length single player campaigns equaling the length of the entire original SC single player campaign respectively.
3rd: all of the campaigns come with a fully interactive meta-game...
With that much content the Starcraft saga is gonna get pretty damn epic
AND FARSCAPE FTW
But I'm seriously pissed I'm out of the country and my beautiful collectors edition box is still sitting inside of it's brown Amazon.com shipping box :(
