I'd need to see definitive numbers versus Reggie's boasting and silly dance memes to know for sure, but if that's the case then good for Nintendo. We'll see where it goes from here.
The game is without a doubt is jaw dropping gorgeous, I admit I find myself distracted some times, get lost taking screen shots and then realize I have a fantastic game I need to get back to playing. I know theres a Sawtooth around here somewhere needs killin'.
LOL, its funny you mentioned that cause I cant stop pausing and taking damn screen shots in photo mode, I love the game so much but its like an addiction cause it looks so damn good, I'm like oh I got to get this shot, run a few yards turn a corner, oh shit I gotta get this shot! Definitely taken more images from this game then any other game Ive ever played including DriveClub.
Ive had zero issues for which the patch is supposed to fix but for those that need it hopefully it helps.
I think I completed it in like 47 seconds well under the 1:30 time for a blazing sun reward, a good thing to do is zoom in and slow down time so you can get more canisters shot off the same grazer before they try to break and run.
I did find it quite funny that this was right next to the link for the article where GameStop claimed it was the strongest console launch seen in years. Not that I support either side of the matter I just found it ironic and funny.
Did you play the open beta? It actually wasn't bad.

Been saying this all along when it comes to Nintendo, nostalgia goes a long way, not saying its a bad game or anything just that by and large that's what makes people buy and play Nintendo games.
I'll let the kiddies fight about this one but I just wanted to say I was just playing Horizon and I got to this part where you come up to the crest of this mountain top and you look out over the valley and you can see machine creatures flying in the air and giant bus sized bull like creatures on the valley floor and it all looks like the bad lands in Utah and as far as you can see you can go and explore and it is absolutely jaw dropping and amazing.
