Then you should have no problem with killzone 3 then, you need to go on gametrailers and watch some of the dev videos, they did a lot to improve the control scheme making it more fluid and adding some neat things like "slide to cover".
you know, If the games has a good story, solid controls and well done levels the game doesn't have to "beat' or even compare to HL2. It just has to be fun, frenetic and be able to hold your interest till the very end.
This game has me intrigued, I just had to pre-order it. besides, am a big fan of movies like L.A. Confidential and classic film noir movies.

I hope these new ones have some sort of protection from bricking, like maybe a base or dedicated recovery firmware that is permanently burned onto a chip that the unit falls back to if there is a bad or incomplete firmware update. frankly, that should be included in all hardware that has firmware updates.

I thought the demo was pretty good, albeit a little short. Not a game to play in front of the kids though.
One thing I have to say, the controls are pretty comfortable, there is no jump in this game though as far as I can tell, when you come up to an obstacle it does that gears "press Button to climb over" thing.
It's a cheap and fun platformer. for 10.00 how can you go wrong.

what I have been hearing is that the best all around weapon in the game is the MP5, maybe Gameloft could tweak the weapons balancing a tad so that the more expensive weapons will be worth getting. also, seeing that this is apparently an iPhone port, some of the design decisions may have worked on the iPhone just don't on a big screen.For the price though, I can see why they only did what they needed to for it to be fun and playable on the PS3 at its low price point.
yeah, but, Sony is still dedicated to the hardcore gamer, they know that in the long run that staying the course rather than being tossed around by the market like a rubber duck in a bath tub, changing course at every turn may lead quick short term profits but, in the long run, turning your back on a loyal demographic for that quick buck could and can alienate them and they may not come back.
