MS office runs pretty good in either wine, crossover office or Cedega / WineX (mainly for gaming but will run office and photoshop.

Frankly, just man up and buy your copy of windows. If you don't like paying for an OS what Valve is doing is a good thing, now, you won't have to be a thief and can play games on a free OS.

what i think is funny is that everybody seems to think that MS is this great software company...but, they are behind Sony in graphic driver development???

I couldn't care less if this "editor" buys a PS4 or not. if you don't have the mental fortitude to decide on your own, you have more problems than which console to buy.
I am not comparing the Wii or WiiU to Sony or MS current of next generation consoles, what I am referring to is the general attitude that fans (or fanboys) have concerning their console of choice. what I have noticed is that "specs don't matter" generally, when your console of choice is lesser by that metric.

Agreed, The sheer amount of unique titles from not only third party but Sony's many first party studios is a strength. after all, just because pizza is great, doesn't mean eating it every day is a great idea.

hanging out at night waiting for 12:00 is actually kinda' neat. You are hanging out with a bunch of like minded people BSing about games and stuff. That is what i did for the 360 on launch and it was just me and a bunch of 35+ year old guys, some with their wives, hanging out till gamestop opened at 12:00 sharp.
