After what B.Kotick said about taking the fun out of developing games and creating a business model of reduced new IP and the releasing sequels of existing IP's more frequently with higher price points.
Something was going to break eventually. Personally, I felt that Activision's saturation of the market with music games and COD's would have hurt them in the med-long run anyway.

the last PoP, the story was interesting but the gameplay didn't resonate with me.

Halo 2, I just did not like that game, I liked Halo 1 and Halo 3 but something about halo 2 just annoyed me.
Any damn Lego game, I had the star wars one for the nephews and it was just damn annoying.
The killing moves got in the way when you were fighting multiple opponents, the kick mechanic was very poorly thought out. I think if the Main character had the ability to morph more than one weapon (maybe some melee edged weapons like a staff or something sword-like) it would have went a long way to improve the game.
The game had so much potential...what a shame...

It was actually one of the main games that I was looking forward to getting when I was an Xbox360 owner. It looks like it will play out like a really good Action/thriller with supernatural horror elements. to be honest I think I would prefer it over Heavy Rain for a number of reasons. (just my personal opinion, not a slight against Quantic or Heavy rain, I just prefer the story and setting more in Alan Wake.)
Oh well, maybe down the line they will actually release it on the PC, if not I...
the developers that make ALL the games you like are Hackers, they are the software creators that love what they do. without them there would be nothing software-wise that would be interesting or innovative.
Crackers are Black-hat programmers that "crack" program DRM in gaming machines and try to steal credit card information from secure networks as well as create viruses among other illegal activities.
they use to use those in movies and shows that were depicting the "future" (except it had a ball rather than a pistol.)

I don't like losing features but, what are you going to do? I was hoping eventually to retire my fat when the next generation (PS4) comes out to a Linux PC, oh well, I will try a hacked firmware when the time comes.

If the game doesn't look as good or better on the PS3 than first party games, they will be a laughing stock. Just think about it, They are making statements that they have reached the graphic ceiling of the PS3, if they don't show a marked difference in graphic fidelity that either rivals or exceeds first parties...(even at the expense of upsetting Microsoft) They will lose credibility in the industry as well as the gaming community.

If you are patient and don't mind waiting a little while, every game will drop in price to the point that pirate games are just not worth it. I mean c'mon! what is 60.00 now will eventually be 25.00 down the line and eventually end up in a bargain bin for 5.00 to 15.00.
I can wait if I can not afford a game or I feel a game isn't worth the the price.
