First bc going back into the ps3, not happening as long as the ps2, is still in production, even then it will have to be software emulated.
2nd not alot of ip owners will bother with doing it, probably the popular series, mgs ,zoe, dark cloud, onimusha, dmc and a few specific others will get a remaster/touch up ect.
Hell i'd pay $40 for a remaster of the champions of norrath series, with trophies and voice chat.

Fallout and oblivion have almost nothing in common with jrpgs like ff ect, why you compare a wrpg to a jrpg i'll never understand.
Now an online element in jrpgs, could be good if done right, like how white knight chronicles coop missions are. But first make it 100% optional, second the single player story mode, should always come first, third don't force it on players ala re5.

Crackdown 2 is coming out in 2 weeks, it is one of the few exclusive games that ms can claim as their own. At the largest gaming convention in the world and ms doesn't feel the need to show some gameplay footage or a demo unit. Either ms doesn't want to show it off, because it's horrible, or ms are just plain stupid....

@11 Sony did the smartest thing possible for the ps3's generation, they cut out unnecessary expensive parts in order to cut the losses they take when they manufacture a unit.
