This Indie developers ambition astounds me.

The stats must have changed in the Beta, in the alpha im sure me and at least 2 of my friends had guns that started with 96 and once upgraded were 106.
Obviously level 8 green weapons. I forget the names, mine was the burst rifle with the blue bit at the front and my friends were auto rifles.
Maybe they decided they were over powered, i couldn't find a gun with anything higher than 57 in the Beta.

Someone finally gets it.
Bungie have made no secret that this game is about achieving the level cap quickly and then grinding and doing dungeons/raids to get higher stat equipment and weapons.
I for one can't wait to hit that level cap and start grinding to get good gear.

Well what you actually said was; "Not only do I never recall the beta being exclusive to preorders".
Which led me to believe that you thought that the beta was not at first restricted to pre orders only (Which it was), aside from attending certain events and getting codes etc.

It does seem crazy just how much effort Evolution is putting into getting every detail as accurate as possible.
Something like 1000 pictures per car model just so they get every angle perfect.
Ok i'm gonna go out on a limb here and may possibly get murdered by my fellow Sony fans BUT Uncharted has never ever really appealed to me, i've played them all but never really actually got into them.
I do think they are very pretty games however some of the backgrounds make my jaw drop.
The one that springs to mind instantly is a part where you go to what looks like an old ship graveyard. That really stood out for me.

It's a shame Youtubes frame rate is only 60fps for selected videos. It should just be rolled out now surely.
We've been waiting for like ever.
I'm glad more and more developers are allowing us to choice. When FFXIV:ARR did this i thought it was brilliant. They let you choose either 720p/60fps or 1080p/30fps.
At least that way nearly everyone is happy.

I for one will be playing this at 60fps. Shadows aren't worth the loss in frames in my opinion.

The $500M number that Activision have invested is for the cost of Destinys development, marketing, packaging, infrastructure support, royalties and "other" costs over the next 10 years. Not just for launch.

I agree with that statement with regards to the Beta, purely because i put so much time into the Alpha. There's not much difference. The full game is still yet to be released so we will see if things change.

Yeah mines the same. If i go in alone on no parties more often than not i get in quite quickly.
However, if i party up with a couple friends and go in a parties allowed match it takes forever. We were sat there for no word of a lie 45 minutes the other night.
Luckily my friends can keep me entertained with conversation and moan only slightly about wait times lol.
