My name is spelt 'Madderz'.
I'm quite aware that there will be good and bad news on a news website, I kinda get how simple things like the news work ;). I'm also aware that there may be news that is neither bad nor good and I should be able to comment that I'm not sure which way this one leans without being randomly told to 'deal with it' by some stranger who adds nothing to the conversation at hand.
Manners cost nothing.
Luckily Outlast wasn't about when you were 7!
That game scares the shit outta me and i'm 24!
LOL
@Himdeel
Good :) that's exactly what i was trying to get across. I applaud your parenting style.
I hope my 2 year old girl isn't interested in playing games tbh LOL
I very much think its down to each individual child. Some kids are more grown up and sensible than others, some will be easily scared/effected by certain games and some kids will go out and copy what they see/hear in a game. Some kids won't do/be effected by any game.
I personally think it's down to the parents to know their child and as long as the parent actually looks into what the game ACTUALLY contains and deems it not too over the top for their child and actuall...
@Dark_Overlord
Duuuuhhhh, silly me. Of course it does, I should know i owned a fat PS3 from launch.
Dumb moment there.
Buttttt the PS4 doesn't play DVDs or CDs does it? I haven't personally tried, come to think of it i only own blu rays nowadays, but it could recognize them in the same way as using the PS3 disc to boot a game then i would imagine?
Strange.
Really? That would be odd as PS1 games were CDs I believe, and PS2 games were DVDs??
The PS4 only has a bluray drive? So i think that could work with PS3 games but not the predecessors.
Am i wrong? Can anyone shed any light?
EDIT : Actually isn't that how the PS3 - PS4 upgrade thing works? You put your PS3 copy into the PS4 to boot the PS4 copy? To prove you have paid for the license? So that says right there it can read PS3 discs.
I thought reading that article that it was an actual replacement cover?
When i first saw this i assumed it was a sticker too, which i have always been against using on my own consoles.
If this was a separate cover that i could switch out i'd be happy with that and would probably buy one.
I remember my friend buying like a carbon fibre effect vinyl sticker kit for his fat ps3 and it just looked awful and he never got all the marks/adhesive...
@Abriael
Yeah, i've been following the ppsspp emulator for a little while now and that started out really really buggy, but its slowly getting there. It takes lots of testing and feedback from users. I imagine Sony will obviously do in house testing etc as appose to having public testers.
@Everyone else
Whats with all the hate, some of the info was repeated but there is new info on stability, res and fps. I wasn't aware before this ar...
I think Notch reacted on a personal level rather than a business/professional level.
Sounds to me like he has had a bad experience with FB in the past maybe. That or he just simply does not agree with what they stand for/how they operate.
Minecraft has quite a following, i wonder how people that supported both Oculus Rift and Minecraft now feel? Hopefully Morpheus can at least try and cater for those guys!
@BakPain
Why in the feck did you get a disagree for thanking someone?
Geezzzzz this place is odd.
I for one, found it news worthy and helpful.
The whole performance issues could be why they have said "selected" PS1/PS2 titles.
Maybe some are too much hard work or not cost effective to bring to the market. So they will choose the ones they can get to run the best.
Be a shame if a real classic was unable to be emulated correctly/efficiently and we had to miss it on PS4.
@BOLO
DOA2 was my absolute favorite fighting game EVER.
So fluid and you could just combo forever. Jan Lee (If i remember his name correctly) with his dragon elbows "WAPAAAAAAAAA".
Oh the memories....
"Deal with it."
Huh? Was that aimed at me or the article?
Yeah, tbh I actually enjoyed it on PC i just didn't have time for it with all the bugs and crashes etc in the end i got rid of my rig anyway.
I did play the PS3 beta briefly but unfortunately my view of it was tainted from the PC. My rig obviously ran it with better res, frame rate, draw distance, number of enemies on screen etc so the PS3 beta was a HUGE step down for me so I couldn't get into it.
However the PS4 version looks quite promising with hi...
Brilliant article.
"..A typical binge streamer begins an internal conversation with something like “I have some time. Maybe I should see what all this Breaking Bad fuss is about.” Then, eight hours later, the person wakes up in a haze of weird chemistry class memories, empty food wrappers and broken dreams. “It’s dark out. Where am I? What happened? DID YOU DO THIS TO ME HEISENBERG?!”"
This is exactly what happened to me when i got into breaking ba...
Big things happening in the industry the last few days.
I'm still not sure whether this is a good or bad thing tbh.

Looking forward to this, I really hope they can pull it off. Haven't really enjoyed a Final Fantasy game since X!
I did play FF14 when it first came out on PC but it was an absolute mess! I am going to give it another shot on PS4 when it releases in a couple weeks, fingers crossed it's sorted its act out!
Should get me through a year or 2 until 15 releases ;P
I jokkkkkkkkkke!!
I somewhat agree with you.
I don't think it matters whether the main character is male or female just as long as you can connect to them and sort of build a bond with them. Characters such as Cloud, Squall or Tidus you sorta grew with them as they went further through the game. I just didn't get that with Final Fantasy XIII. Tbh I actually already had quite a bit of affection for Yuna, Rikku etc following X so maybe that's why i feel the female characters worked a...
@D-riders.
I found a way round that if you can deal with a little bit of echo?
Create a party chat using your vita.
Invite a friend to the chat.
Leave the chat on the vita.
Get your friend to send you an invite to the party you created.
Go on your ps4 (either with remote play or manually) and find the party chat you started and jump in it.
The invite that you got your friend ...
