I remember back in the day when aside from Sony and Nintendo, other companies such as Sega,Samsung, Atari ect. made consoles. Eventually they failed and those companies did other things. This kind of reminds me of the past console competitions. To be honest in 2001 when the Xbox came out I was like ah no here's another failed console attempt, of course I was wrong the Xbox is bomb but I honestly don't think that Steams console is going to take off.....at all. Ya but Madworld also had cartoon like graphics and obviously wasn't realistic. GTAV almost looks real and you can commit murder for absolutely no reason. That being said I do agree with you, they should put GTAV on the Wii U simply because they can integrate the new gamepad. Now brings up the question, can the Wii U's CPU handle GTAV? Doubtful.

Portal is considered a puzzle game but it is also an FPS due to the fact that its in first-person and you do use a gun.

This article is sorta kinda bullsh*t. It's alot easier to HD polish a PS2 game than a PS1. If they make FFVII again they'll probably build it with a different engine. For FFX they can just bump up the resolution to 720p and they are done.

Fallout New Vegas did have soo much more than Fallout 3 but of course it was more bug ridden than the usual Bethesda game which ultimately made it unplayable for some(personally I loved it). The content in New Vegas blew me away seeming that New Vegas came out only 2 years after Fallout 3, which isn't typical of Bethesda. Skyrim is coming out 5 years later than Oblivion. I understand New Vegas is just copy and paste graphics and Oblivion and Skyrim are not, but still the amount added was ...

I always go for CoD games and I will this year too but a few days ago I decided to buy Bad Company 2, it was $5 on EA's website :). I honestly wish I bought it earlier, I love it. I was going to buy BF3 anyway but now BFBC2 sealed the deal.
I would love to get it for PC but unfortunatley if it looks really good my laptop will struggle to run it, I mean I can run most current gen games on high(ultra if I'm lucky), but when it comes to Crysis 2 or The Witcher 2 I'd say medium at the most. I'll just buy it for 360 to be safe.
