Glad I’m waiting for the physical release but even then I don’t think they’ll fix these messes.

A controller that if you didn’t buy the day it went on sale you will not be able to get until 2022. Per Nintendo.

I want one because I have been on handheld more but my issue is more of a fear that a next gen one is around the corner. I don’t believe Nintendo when they said there isn’t a 4K Switch in the works, it may not be a Switch but it’s a something.

There never was a war this gen, the only two notable "console wars" were SNES vs Genesis and PS3 vs 360. Sony flat out dominated every other gen there was a Playstation available. With that I'm sure PS5 will outsell XSX too. It's going to be hard to find a reason to buy the XSX for at least the first couple years considering you can play most of its games on Xbox One and all of them on PC.

This is some strange marketing honestly. Let's bring up the graphics to PC's Ultra spec but push particle effects to an extra 50% bump in quality. Like don't get me wrong it's cool that it's "better than the PC version" 😑 but that just means the PC version can get that too so it's more so of the fact of why didn't you just do this before?

That's all you get with a 2080 Ti? I get close to the same with a GTX 1080 at 1440p maxed out. Are you sure you updated your drivers?

We can all ignore them and do our part and that's great. The issue is the younger kids who don't understand the value of money. I have a friend with an 11 year old boy who spends any money he earns on Fortnite skins, he even went as far as stealing his mother's credit card and buying everything he could on Fortnite.

So long as games catered towards the cheap thrill of showing off cosmetic items and being the coolest looking character out your group of friends e...

That's perfectly fine, the fact that we actually can play PS4 games is huge.

Graphics have played a huge part in gaming ever since the bit wars back in the late 80s and early 90s. It was always about keeping up with the Jones's, who has the best graphics and the most bits. Now it's about who has the highest resolution and most pixels. As you can see not much has changed.

With that it's become much more than just graphics. We've stepped deep into the 4k era, PC's are able to do 4k at high framerates, consoles that cost at most $50...

I mainly play games on PC but I still buy fighting games on PS4.

I simply thought I was just getting too old for these kind of games. By that I mean open worlds with so much to do and so much to see. Sometimes big games like this can be overwhelming, so much so it becomes work and when games become work they truly don't become the fun you hope they would be.

But this wasn't the case with RDR2, the game just starts off slow and builds up quite slowly as well. I felt this game becoming a chore at the start but as I progressed it wa...

I agree, I love my PC and it blows both consoles out of the water in terms of graphics and performance. But you're right not every game comes to PC and if they do it isn't always right away. So with games like RDR2 I buy them on PS4 but in the end I could never justify buying an Xbox One X. I have a 4K PC that can play all the Xbox exclusives but man I wish I could play RDR2 at 4K instead of 1080p. Even though I'd like to I can't just spend $500 to play one game.

"True 4K" it makes me laugh every time I hear it, it avoids the word native but sounds better than just 4k gaming on it's own. I honestly won't buy it but I'm excited to see what Microsoft is hiding over there, whether they're going to deliver or fall flat on their face.

Perhaps because there are a lot of open world RPG's, especially in this generation and generally speaking if you've seen one, you've seen them all. You have your set of main quests and generic side quests that either have you go on an Easter egg hunt or kill an NPC or monster. Hell even the new Zelda appears as it may fall in that same category and whether it's generic or not in all honesty can feel like it's work rather than fun just to increase that "X hours of game...

We live in a world where your average gamer still cares about graphics, mine can do 1080p and yours can't or mine can almost do native 4k and yours upscales and PC gamers are like well I've been able to native 4K you plebs.

Nintendo looks passed that and they sort of always have especially in the past few years, games are going to take the Switch far. As long as it gets the exclusives it was promised and the 3rd party publishers are still on board it will succeed. ...

@masterfox: Relax and take your fan boy goggles off for a second. Exclusives built specifically for a console are obviously going to look fantastic but U4's downfall is that it's only 30fps. Compare any game running on ultra settings on PC compared to PS4PRO the amount of shortcuts it takes to run any game on 4k or even 1080p 60fps is laughable, look up Rise of the Tomb Raider for example. Oh and any game with mods including Skyrim, a game from 2011 looks better than U4. Not downing ...
