meah, i have my wii running at 480p hooked up to my 52" HDTV and it looks great- hell, a vast improvement from without those cables. Although I cant wait to hook up a PS3 & a 360 to it as well.

to me, a rating of 10/10 basically means a game experience that should not be missed.
perhaps they will all warrant 10's. those are all pretty big games.
i can understand why people get annoyed with backtracking in these games. its like, i have already been here, why would i want to spend 30 minutes crossing all the way back here once i get the power bomb just to get five more missiles? well, the thing is, there are also people like me who dont mind crap like that because the level design in most of these games is quite intriguing.

I've played through all of the other metroid games with the exception of the DS ones, and never once have i thought, "oh gee, ho hum, oh gosh! this would sure be better if i could do this with someone else because me don't get games that me play by my self. it gets so scarry!"

good point. since M$ doesn't really directly compete with Nintendo (not as in the wii being superior to the 360, but as in direct competition with the ps3) it would intelligent to see them work with Nintendo on hand held games. this would allow them to make back some money lost on all of the red rings problems while not having to worrying about all the R&D contests starting a new system. I'm sure if it went well for them, then they would consider making their own hand held.
hey! looks like the wii is doing pretty good! heheh. na, i'm going to buy a 360 because i really want to play bioshock, but i will have a ps3 in time to play MGS4. I have no problem contributing to both of their sales when there are great games to be played.
i think this more applies to movies then games.
with great games, this whole trilogy thing only allows the game developers to tie up tired plot points to allow future installments to try new things and bring in entirely new plot and gameplay elements that would have been otherwise be seen as out of place.
