its funny how they don't compare how each game actually works with the zapper. tell me this, where the crap is the cursor positioning option in RE:UC? link has it, wtf. I found RE:UC quite unplayable with the zapper, but with out it, its a great game. I hope that my for mentioned option will be a must for any future rail shooters on the wii with zapper functionality.
what i don't understand is why did the wii zapper hit the bottom of the miss list? its only $20, it comes with a decent game, and its very well designed. did i mention its only $20? Jericho i can understand. AC, not really, Mass Effect, sure, but this zapper thing makes no sense to me.
so, when is this going to be released in the US?
sweet. i really appreciate violence in video games. its about time we get some quality gore.
However, do limbs always fly directly at you? these limb fight physics seem like they would get a bit gimmicky, rather than feel like justified expressions of a shotgun blast to the face.
as soon as we get more games like halo, everyones going to be like, "hey, this is a halo rip off!" goddamn, remember how much flack MP3 got for just starting on a damn starship?
if anything, just bring us more games that have the same amount of dedication put into the multiplayer design that this franchise has. that seems to be the only thing people care about these days...
i thought this was supposed to be an MMORPG?
i've been watching a lot of TNG lately. somehow, this game seems like it will leave a bad taste in my mouth.
sweet
well, thats a lot better than the $20 wii blaster they have now thats "designed for wii play". jesus, it seemed like it could have been pretty cool, making it look like a sawed off shotgun, but considering that not a single game uses the Z button for a trigger, i was duped. what a rip.
i am looking forward to the wii zapper though. i wish i knew what release date was. i have read that wii resident evil comes out on new years day 2008.
i agree. i once saw some kind of rumor page about this sort of thing. the picture showed a ps3 controller splitting apart right down the middle. it was a good idea. i just think that sony is trying its hands in too many pots, so to speak, and is loosing ground by not staying true to its self.
take the 360 for example. it stands true and does not waver at all. they said it was going to be a fancy nextgeneration console, and thats what they have been aiming for. the wii told ev...
well, they should bring us something, damn it! at least they left MP3 open ended (with the exception of phazon) when you finish with 100%.
i know that we all have our favorite games. the metroid series is one of mine. i hope they continue with it eventually.
wow, way to go sony. you truly know about innovation, thats for sure.
i like how you never actually saw any tennis, and how they amazingly integrated need for speed, wii sports, and metroid all in one. if this does sell like hotcakes this holiday season, there are going to be a lot of pissed off kids Christmas morning. i mean seriously. wtf. who would develop for this anyways?
pre-patented technology that pre-dates the Wiimote or not, they dropped the ball.
sony, Please ...
he kind of looks like the guy from superbad.
heh, i've been watching a lot of TNG lately. Engage!
meah, i think that making great games should be a consoles first priority, but i don't mind throw ins like dvd and bluray because i agree, it helps justify the cost. on the other hand, if the system did not use those additions it would probably be cheaper. i know that after i got the PS2 on launch day, thats when i began my dvd collection. in a since, sony really helped the dvd market with that move.
now i know that asking this question will probably open up a whole can of hat...
sick. i cant wait.
this "game" seems fun, but also very disorienting. not games. sorry.
this games seems fun, but also very disorienting.
it amuses me greatly to see sony worried about piracy after taking two separate nods from nintendo. honestly, the DS lite/PSP slim and a motion controlled ps2? for god sakes, put your R&D back into the PS3 and bring us some truly unique innovation from an next generation system.
a well written article, good read.
being a wii owner since launch, i understand the limitations and also the possibilities of the system, and what i can reasonably expect out of its games. but one improvement that i would like to see with the wiimote is a better quality speaker built into it. this idea was a very good one, and can be very gratifying, but was not exactly well implemented. with the speaker being so cheap, it pops and cracks and is generally unreliable.
anyone re...
the funny thing is to me is that although the wii is now more expensive, it still has built in wifi and an internet browser. you can complain about opera all you want, but its that free wifi part that MS does not seem to get their head around. why put it in there for free when you can charge $100 for it.
