The problem with AMD is the same one they have been fighting all the time. They are always looking to undersell their chips to gain marketshare but instead go into the red hurting their business. What are you worried about. What exactly did MS change that would make you change your mind about the console now. I can only think of the always online DRM which really isn't something to based a buying decision on. The problem with doing something different when you leave your bread and butter is that taking such risk can be very costly. Why would being in a dark room matter to Kinect 2.0. People really should try to keep up. Kinect 2.0 doesn't care what lighting you use because its sensor for motion uses IR. You can be in pitch black room and kinect will pick you up fine.
