Hmmmm, seems you need to pay for it as you pre-order it. Now I'm even less inclined to have it.

I'm a little indecisive at the moment.

My Infamous 2 CE was excellent, and I really want this. It's better than I expected in quality (especially the case).

However, I was hoping for £80.

Edit: I'm assuming this is a Gamestop Exclusive?

I agree, it's simple bait and switch, we should be worried about the future of the market as genuine competition seems to be dwindling in the face of digital downloads.

If Origin takes off then EA won't use anyone else for example.

In terms of pricing, the recent red faction was in stores for £15 recently, at the same time it was (and still is) priced at £57.99 on PSN.

Oh look... bait.

It's painfully apparent that you have neither the capability or inclination of having a rational and constructive discussion. I had taken some of your points, repackaged them in a more acceptable manner, discussed them and given my opinion on them in order to further the point. You have, unfortunately, settled for a detrimental and menial rebuttal that simply highlights your inability to operate at any level higher than a bottom-feeder. (See, isn't it...

You don't have to do anything, I worked there for over 6 years, have excellent personal hygiene (should I be rude about you, as 2 wrongs and all that? It's easy to stereotype after all)and even I rarely purchased from the place, even at 25% discount. I used to shop online, and still do.

The reason that the staff now approach you with an overzealous manner is that they are tracked on things called KPI's. Once these were pushed by management and to the detriment of ...

except it's not working for them. Have you seen their recent share slumps?

5 years ago they had shares at 296p, and 3 years ago around 260, now they hover around the mid 20's.

I worked there at the time of the Gamestation acquisition. Gamestation's profits were 2m a year, they paid 72m for them, it was all about stopping anyone else from getting bricks and mortar stores in the U.K.

Edit: I'm not the disagreer btw.

" less games don't come out in the summer..."

where are all these games then? ;)

What I have done this year is to pre-pay for my pre-orders at Shopto. This has allowed me to get more of the games that will release in one big clump, using money I haven't spent on games during the drier months.

Not for everyone, but hoping it works for me.

"Man, the summer is hot, dry, and lacks quality titles."

Over in Blighty the summer is muggy (and rioty), wet, and lacks quality titles.

Ah well, I still prefer it to lots of other places, now if I could just find out which retailer will have the collectors edition of Uncharted 3.

@Series_IIa

That was the best possible response you could have made. Bravo sir.

The Tsuchinoko is easy to get, there's a certain point in the game where it's guaranteed to appear, you just need to lay a few traps.

My friend snapped a disc over the kerotans on the motorbike chase.

Shame its the substance version MGS2 for me, I'm a dogtag in the original. Ah well, at least it was an improved game ;)

Can't say I've experienced that myself, and I've played it several times both pre and post patches. Try another disc first.

You aren't, I am.

Should I write a blog about the merits I see in it or just leave an already overexamined issue?

Yeah, you're right.

Playstation Plus is....

Whilst neither of these are 'games' in the sense that MS are wishing to sell they are exceptional examples of creativity using PC's and the SDK.

I know it sounds strange but the name 3DS actually reinforces that belief in the average consumers head. I'm not disagreeing with your thoughts on the amount of revisions to either handheld, but at least the Vita is named sufficiently to help consumers differentiate.

Here you go, have an agree. Some obviously don't understand they way things are in business. It's not ideological.

Not saying this will happen to Nintendo (and it is quite unlikely to), but people used to say much the same about Sega, it's always a possibility, though I feel Nintendo would need a few high profile failures first.

I'd forgotten all about this. So much for the full halt of PS3 shipments. It's good that they've come to an agreement however, this was all just back and forth bitching any way.
