How the heck are they going to find the 8' of open space in a room in that country??
I dont think kinect is tailored to japan. Unless they get some serious martial arts games that are accurate... then I could see a boom.
Its a start... they'll have to go through a few iterations of these games to see what works and what doesn't. ie future game designers can try this and go.. "well maybe if it wasnt so clunky here.. and you did turning like this... " etc.
Its an early adapter, first "real" first person game for the kinect!!! Lets try to keep the trolling down a bit, it looks like quite a bit of fun.

I need to work on my roundhouse and side kicks. Assuming the game isnt too repetitious and adds something to the table instead of just a money grab.

The violence and gore might be too much for my wife to play but I look forward to some first person immersion. The previews are sounding positive for this, and killing zombies is one of my favorite passtimes (in games lol).
From the trailers I'm not hopeful about this game. Its rare that an IP turns into a really great game in the first place and they just arent getting to the core of what star wars on kinect should be; a great tactical light saber fighting game. It seems like people hacking wildly do just fine. A bit too dumbed down to really succeed.
Its been getting lots of great reviews, think Im gonna pick it up!

Sports 2 is looking good. How come no one is running with the games that they are cooking up and making them into full blown campaign type deals? Golf sounds awesome and such a no brainer that I cant believe its Rare thats leading the pack again with the 2nd offering and nothing has come out since that compares.
Game companies need to get their foot off the brake and hit the gas! There is big money to be made here, Kinect is a great platform.

Well said. Too much partisanship on these boards, I'm really tired of PS3 owners talking all butthurt all the time. Who cares? They are unique experiences and I have no doubt there are fun things on PS3 also, even though I am a kinect owner.

Second to last paragraph is pretty transparent... dont know how you cant see that as a flame attack on anybody that disagrees with him.
It sounds like he enjoyed himself anyway but his writing style is a little imprecise. Over the top goryness is pretty humourous to me too, might be worth it for that alone (aka evil dead 2).

Thats great, sports 1 was a blast. Their implementation was really good, though there is always a few times an hour when I wish it read me better. Other than that a superb game. Looking forward to sports 2.
They also need a campaign mode! I'd love a feeling of progression instead of some abstract leveling process.
I'll be getting it... just wish they had some kind of campaign mode on these. that would be very addictive!!
