Dude learn to read in fact let me quote what I actually said
"But hey (pause) keep believing that just because you read or saw it on the internet then hell it must be true."
I was being sarcastic.
Come on dude we all know, that you only see and believe what you want when it supports your side of the argument. So umm where was I stating or advising you to start believing what you read or see on the internet?...
xHeavYx
Skim through the comments dude and you will see so mnay users testifying that the Kinect 2.0 works and though not flawless works really well.
So regardless of their fake reveal, the new Kinect has proven to be a big surprise for most users even some skeptics in a positive sense.
But hey keep believing that just because you read or saw it on the internet then hell it must be true.
The rest of us who are actuall...
@ xHeavYx
Yet for those of us who actually have an X1 and swear black and blue how great the new Kinect is or every other gaming site which loves the new Kinect well hey we must all be wrong or hold some bias, as by your logic ONLY negative comments are TRUE.
Dude do you own an Xbox One have you tried it in the real world???? Outside of gaming expo's etc prior to launch
I have, and I can testify that though it isn't perfect it i...
hmmmm in the month of November
Xbox One available in 13 markets
PS4 available in 32 markets
December PS4 will launch in a further 15 markets
http://www.joystiq.com/2013...
Taking the PS4 to available in 48 markets around the world
Now if you were to divide $2,099,126 by 32 markets (November) well that equa...
@ Lukas_Japonicus,
The PS4 had an awesome launch without a doubt and 1 million in 24 hours is no easy feat or something to scoff at. Yet 2.1 million after launch in 30 other countries compared to 2 million for the X1 across 13 countries is still quite significant in itself.
Neither console is failing or really one upping the other at this stage. Both have proven very successful and that is a win win for us all.
I am going to add my congrats MS to this very awesome news.
Very awesome to hear that both consoles have started off with a great such a great start.
Great news for developers also who may have been afraid of big the install base would be at launch for both next gen consoles.
@ someoneagain
Dude I'm assuming this line here:
"8GB isn't a lot. First, 1.5GB is reserved for the PS4 and 3GB for XBO."
You are referring to RAM reserved to run the Os for both systems. Since have you have not quite made this point clear and given that both systems have more RAM then that free for developers to use for games then I am pretty certain my first assumption is correct.
HOWEVER the PS4 ...
Going to add my own AMEN to that!!!!!
Give us a release date REMEDY and then I am pre-ordering straight away. I must have his game day one for sure.
Man I can't wait to see what they show next at E3 2014.
The only time the UI is a hindrance is when you don't use Kinect 2.0, or you live in a country Like New Zealand that doesn't have voice support as of yet.
Trying to navigate the system with just a controller is a trial in patience of unprecedented proportions.
Am I jealous much of our Aussie brothers and sisters across the shore....Yes...though I could just change the region to Australia like all my friends semed to have done and found that it wor...
Great to hear such positive feedback about DR3.
It was the only launch title that I brought that I never got time to play on launch night, well this and FIFA14. The difference was that I was super pysched to play this game but only had a window of 6 hours to make sure everything worked as it should update the system, install my games, put all the families profiles into the X1 have a little play and then pack it all back up. Talk about weeping man tears, man I honestly sul...
@ Dark_king
No they didn't, how could they. If you were around at the time of the X360 launch you would have noted thread after thread of complaints about RROD it was even in their trouble shooting guide that came with the console.
The truth was they downplayed it and I mean big time downplayed how much of an issue it really was which is very different from straight out denying an issue exists at all.
I was there from Day One with the X360, they (MS) actually DID in fact acknowledge the RROD as an issue, they just made the mistake a costly one at that of downplaying as to how huge the issue was.
Which does not correspond with what we are seeing at the moment, MS and SONY for that matter are real good at downplaying issues but in most cases they do acknowledge when something like an issue is apparent post launch.
Now in respect of yourself I am sure tha...
What like the 1000 approximatly (since no actual figures seem to exist so far) reported hardware faults from 13 launch countries for the X1 compared to the 4000 hardware faults reported in the first week after launch of the PS4 in 1 or 2 countries since I saw somewhere that it launched in both the USA and Canada.
hmmmmm what is going to happen this Friday when the PS4 launches everywhere else????
How much higher will that PS4 hardware failure rate climb t...
Digital Foundry lmao the same site that fudged up the comparison video's for BF4 between the X1 and PS4. Even to the point that they admitted that the footage was doctered to support their own claims.
If you had bothered to read the bottom part of my post you would have noted this:
"Framerate issues judders whatever a patch had to be released to correct the issue where as this was not required for the Xbox One version to the best of my knowledge....
This article lost all credibility about this point
"This obviously increases manual effort from the developer’s end, which has resulted in performance issues in certain video games such as Call of Duty: Ghosts."
Well thats funny these sites say otherwise when it came to COD Ghosts
"On the current-gen versions Ghosts looks nearly identical, though I did encounter occasional framerate issues during the single-player campaig...
@ lifeisgamesok
Amen buddy granted I have only played an hours worth on the hardest difficulty and everything you have said is exactly how I would describe it as well and I have hardly scraped the surface with this game.
Still the litle bit I have played was a blast.
So glad I do not base my purchasing decisions based on review scores.
@ sonofmrpsychotic
I'm with you on this one granted my X1 has been packed away until Christmas time so only got 6 hours to jam on my new X1.
Killer Instinct, I brought the Ultra edition and I can't praise the game enough even with a such a small roster, (it also came packed with the full SNES version which I haven't tried as of yet. The game simply rocks and is the best fighting title I have played in a long time.
COD Ghost...
Lets say there are 150 defective units in each of the 13 launch regions just hyperthetically speaking. that would equate to 1,950 that is still a far cry from 4,000 defective PS4's released in one region wouldn't you think.
PLUS besides the disk drive fault for those that have encountered this issue, which I sincerely as a gamer feel their pain and am totally guttered that this happened. Still the console still worked which is very different to the PS4's that br...
Here's a history lesson for you all and try Googeling it if you don't believe me:
At the beginning of last gen there was this new IP from Ubisoft touted as the next big thing that was getting promoted s running on the PS3.....what was that game oh yeah ASSASSINS CREED, this was before it was known that the game was going to multiplatform.
The footage and gameplay turned out to be running on the Xbox 360 after months of deceptively saying it was all fr...
