I have owned an X1 since launch and not once have I regretted my purchase.

I love my console and all of the games I own, even if most love to spew hate all over it.

I even still own an X360 so I am never short of games to play.

I didn't care who was the most powerful last gen or which one had better graphics. So I see no reason to change my way of thinking this gen.

I thought it was the next Infinity Ward iteration of COD that has the PS4 as lead platform.

If Sledgehammers COD has been in development for close to 2 years and historically for the best part of last gen Xbox was the lead platform then would it not stand to reason that Xbox was still lead platformn for this one as well. I'm pretty certain that it is all future entries in the COD series that have PS4 as the lead platform.

China has a huge DOTA and World of Warcraft fanbase. As already stated they are predominantly a PC gaming population. I doubt either console will find great success there.

However having said that if the right kind of games and local content was promoted on either console then it might prove a turning point.

You also have to take into account that a console ban has been in place for years in China....so maybe just maybe the fact that gamers in China c...

So at its core, its Borderlands crossed with Mass Effect while still holding a striking resemblence to Halo.

Its also an MMO that somehow is not an MMO lol

Everything I have seen "so far" does not scream innovative, ground breaking or a genre first well not entirely.

But hey visually it looks incredible, yet gameplay wise somehow still manages to come off dull.

I honestly don't know what to think of this...

I'm with you on this one, Halo 2 was a great game for its time. But as of right now redoing a game just for nostalgia reasons just feels a little off.

Look at when they remastered Fable yeah it looks pretty good but other than that, it plays exactly the same warts and all.

In some instances I would rather they just reboot a game/series etc fix what was wrong with the original, flesh it out more and make it fresh for a whole new generation of gamers. ...

This is kind of a catch 22 for MS in respect of they are damned if they do and they damed if they don't.

On one hand new head of Xbox Phil Spencer has publicly stated that the new direction for the Xbox brand will be back to being all about the games. So to many this will seem like the opposite of what he said, so some will label him a liar. How is this news or still being discussed. Everyone and their dog knows that TF 2 when it eventually happens will be multiplat.

Given that Respawn have rescently just shared their roadmap for the immediate future, well right now it consists of taking a break and supporting TF with constant updates and future DLC. So I wouldn't expect talk of the next TF or any other Respawn project for quite a while yet.

I'm thinking an Age of Empires reboot or Age of Empires 4.

This was an Ensemble Studios IP who were also owned by MS prior to their closure after Halo Wars. So my bet is given that it is an established Triple A RTS game, then so far all signs point to another AOE.

That was my impression as well.

Plus the X360 port is good and Bluepoint should be commended for a great job.

However for some of you others, the difference between the X360, X1 and PC versions isn't that small and it goes way beyond just visuals.

Lets be honest and drop the X1 hatred for a moment - The X360 textures are very muddy, lighting is toned down, shadows sometimes don't exist, the enviromen...

Plants vs Zombies is definitely on my list of games still to get lol though totally agree it needs to be added to my list of games.

KI just seems to get better and better.

Now I know there has been a change of guard with KI, as DH are about to exit after being brought up by Amazon, and Iron Galaxy the creators of DiveKick are about to take the reigns. So with fresh blood and a fresh outlook on the game, under the watchful supervision of Ken Lobb etc I am more than certain that KI is in good hands and the future looks bright for KI as a whole.
