Tell me this, who had the better online infrastructure, who was the better platform for multiplayer, who had party chat. Who offered try before you buy for arcade titles etc just to name but a few points that made XBL GOLD an attractive option.
There was a good reason SONY introduced PSN+ and it was only once they did that PS owners saw the benefits of a subscription based model.

What you refer to is not exclusive to the PS4 as you can see from the following links the X1 allows you to do this as well.

I think there is some major confusion going on.
When they(MS) talk Cloud Storage they are referring to SAVED FILES not FULL GAMES.
When you talk about redownloading games from the XBL Marketplace, I'm assuming you are referring to prepurchased content that you wish to play on another Xbox?????

You can broadcast matches, tournaments etc via Twitch on the X1 or Ustream on the PS4.
The game capture that they are talking about using the consoles DVR feature is simply for capturing those golden moments.
It isn't really a big deal unless you are in the business of capturing and uploading Gaming Walkthroughs and Stategy guides, with which in that case the X1 allows you to use external video capture devices problem solved.

Which yes you are correct does not answer at least part of your question though does answer as to why they did not include the X1 because the X1 CAN do this. Which is to say just like the X360 and the PS3 as you already mentioned.

That looks friggen awesome thanks Mkai28 for the screenshot. So glad I chose to get this game day one it is shaping up to something that will definitely show of the power of the X1, this and Forza 5.
The PS4 needs an API just like the X1.

Rumor has it that EPIC may or may not be working on a Gears MMO. If so that could be cool...Its supposedly going to be set during the Pendulum Wars with a new protagonist and have Doms older brother and Anya's mum make an appearance.
REMEMBER this is just a rumor at the moment and after the disastrous GOW Judgment I don't want them to rush the next Gears game if their is ever going to be another one.

Horde mode was first introduced in Gears Of War 2 which was released a few years before Unchartered 2. Halo ODST and Call of Duty World at War soon followed suit by introducing their own spin on the wave based mode namely Firefight in Halo ODST and Zombies in COD WaW.
