I wonder if you will need to exchange friend codes before you can chat with people.
I think its stupid that they are limiting the ingame chat to specific games and I know the PS3 doesn't have the option of cross game chat since they gave Devs more memory to work which in turn basically didn't leave enough for cross game chat to be implemented but the WII-U could have easily done that out of the box.

the reason they got away from blades is that they needed a way to house more content as well as manage that content. The Blades were cool but they did not lend themselves to the volumes of data available now.
To be honest (i am not in the beta) my fave was the dashboard right before this one. It was so easy to navigate.

i wish they would have brought back all those VIDEOS like SENTUAMESSAGE and all the other programs like that. Though SENTUAMESSAGE was my fave because it was funny and informative and i honestly bought games i saw on those programs.

I know what you mean. I have my PC hooked into my TV so browsing the web will always be faster on my PC. Also on the wii I used to use the browser for youtube to show my friends stuff but now there is a YOUTUBE app so no reason for that. I think a few people will find the feature useful but the majority of us will not care. I know the PS3 has a browser and i, nor my friends ever use it. I would rather look something up on my Iphone then use my console to browse.

i think it would be inefficient in terms of speed. unless its specifically designed and then it would be fairly expensive. Also then you would get into the issue of some people have it and some don't and you separate your market. N64 did this and it was cool but it really sucked if you didn't have it because you would miss out on a lot of games though it did come with DK64
it all depends when the next xbox and playstation are released.
However when that happens i think Nintendo will be left out by 3rd parties again unless nintendo has some awesome tricks up their sleeves

its easy to be more powerful when the consoles you are competing with are 6 years old
its easy to be on top when you are 6 years late to the party

i wouldn't mind getting this collection on XBOX360. I always wanted to play them but never had a PS2
i think it would have been cooler if they went PSX style open top.
also their AV port is proprietary, HDMI cables are universal so that makes them way cheaper to make/buy because they are good for every new piece of AV equipment and they will sell.

the laser maybe easier to clean but also 100% more likely to get a fingerprint on it compared to old slot. Also i wonder if the disk will spin up with the door open
The Driver mission was pretty hard but i think you are right, i had way more trouble with the mission where you had to go to the mall and smash all the windows. However both those missions made me put the game down for a few hours.
