I don't know why EA is getting all this Flack... I mean yeah its shitty what the did but if you played TF2 or Counter-Strike, they do it too for skins. Gears has had skins for guns since Gears3 and there was no way to unlock them for free. At least with EA you can grind the stuff out.
i don't understand this but that's just me. I understand addiction but not sure how micro transactions can be addictive. I don't even like paying for DLC, I didn't get the starwars Battlefront 1 DLC until it was free on PSN. You guys all forgot the fact that Until Dawn was a free PS+ game a few months back? Adding it to PS Now is not as good as having it free on PS+. Its a good game but I don't care for PS Now, PS+ is better in my eyes and Sony should have saved it. However it is a good time to play it and since its in my library i may as well replay it with different choices. Too many people died in my last game.

definitely a tough call, we do need to do something about the "NO REFUNDS" policy, it was started when piracy was super simple, now with digital downloads only the end user gets screwed, at least with hard copy you can trade in and get a small fraction of the money back.

I must say, the PS3 was far more powerful then the xbox360 yet it didn't show it until much later in the cycle and only with first party games. This time I think it won't be as much of an issue because both consoles are very similar in architecture.

I actually have a huge issue with the stick layout on the DS3, but I like the xbox controller more. I had a PS1 and PS2 and didn't like the sticks back then so... I guess different strokes for different folks.

its merely a few Tweets that were strung together and it doesn't say the PS4 controller is better then XBOX360 controller. The point I seemed to find is that the triggers on the DS3 sucked and on the PS4 controller that is remedied. Xbox always had awesome triggers and that's why I always found it odd when my friend used R1 and L1 in shooters on his PS3 but from what I read I can see that those triggers weren't up to the job like X...

I played 1/2 the games on that list and never found the sex scenes awkward, in RED DEAD REDEMPTION it was pretty funny actually. Also in Heavy Rain I didn't mess up the buttons so I didn't see the funny part that they wrote about.

I agree with the methods the author posted but it only works on this game really. I mean imagine if Call of Duty gave the maps away for free and then had people pay for the premium which would include a few extra things (since there is no story online) A lot of people would just play the free version. It is a business model that works on open world racing games and nothing else.
